Biden and China Are Partners in a New Wuhan Lab, EcoHealth Hunt for ‘Recombinant’ Rodent Coronaviruses.

Researchers from the COVID-19-linked Wuhan Institute of Virology and disgraced researcher Peter Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance have carried out new research on “recombinant” coronaviruses in rodents, a recently published paper reveals. The paper lists the Chinese regime as well as Joe Biden’s International Development department as funders and supporters of the dangerous work.

The October document – “A Novel Potentially Recombinant Rodent Coronavirus with a Polybasic Cleavage Site in the Spike Protein” – describes how researchers sampled rodents and shrews collected from the wild for coronavirus prevalence. In the years preceding COVID-19, the Wuhan Institute of Virology carried out similar expeditions to gather data on bats.

Using the samples collected, researchers from the Wuhan lab in collaboration with the American non-profit EcoHealth Alliance discovered “killer” viruses that they bragged were capable of “direct human infection.”

The new paper, which counts researchers from seven Chinese state-run scientific institutions including one person affiliated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s Laboratory of Special Pathogens and Biosafety, is authored by three EcoHealth Alliance Researchers including President Peter Daszak. The National Pulse has previously revealed Daszak’s extensive relationship with the Chinese Communist Party, prompting his removal from the Lancet’s COVID-19 commission due to conflicts of interest.

“In this study, we tested nearly 300 rodents collected from urban and rural sites in southern China,” the paper summarizes its methodology which yielded the following results:

Here, we sampled 297 rodents and shrews, representing eight species, from three municipalities of southern China. We report coronavirus prevalences of 23.3% and 0.7% in Guangzhou and Guilin, respectively, with samples from urban areas having significantly higher coronavirus prevalences than those from rural areas. We obtained three coronavirus genome sequences from Rattus norvegicus, including a Betacoronavirus (rat coronavirus [RCoV] GCCDC3), an Alphacoronavirus (RCoV-GCCDC5), and a novel Betacoronavirus (RCoV-GCCDC4). Recombination analysis suggests that there was a potential recombination event involving RCoV-GCCDC4, murine hepatitis virus (MHV), and Longquan Rl rat coronavirus (LRLV).

Among the paper’s financial supporters are several Chinese Communist Party-run scientific bodies, including those with ties to the regime’s military. President Joe Biden’s U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) also funded the field animal sampling portion of the study.

Israel carries out airstrikes in Gaza in response to rockets off Tel Aviv coast

Warplanes, helicopters hit Hamas targets after defense officials warned of response to ‘serious and unacceptable’ launches against central Israel

The Israel Defense Forces carried out retaliatory airstrikes in Gaza late Saturday night after two rockets fired from Gaza landed off the Tel Aviv coast on Saturday morning.

“Fighter jets and helicopters attacked a series of targets in a rocket production facility belonging to the Hamas terror group,” the IDF said in a statement.

Israeli tanks also shelled Hamas military posts near Gaza’s border with Israel.

Hamas media said Israeli warplanes struck a Hamas outpost west of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Strip, while tanks targeted outposts in northern Gaza.

“Hamas is responsible and bears the consequences for all activity in and emanating from the Gaza Strip,” the IDF said.

Palestinian media first reported the airstrikes in the southern part of the Strip shortly before midnight.

In an unusual report, Hamas media claimed “resistance fighters” had launched “experimental rockets” toward the sea during the Israeli airstrikes. Hamas reports also said the terror group had fired at an Israeli military helicopter.

Earlier Saturday, unnamed Israeli defense officials told Hebrew media vowed that the military would respond to the two rockets launched from the Gaza Strip that landed off the coast of Tel Aviv earlier in the day.

“There will be a response, this is a serious and unacceptable event. The last word has not been said,” a defense official told Kan news.

According to the Walla news site, Israel conveyed a message to Egyptian mediators that it views the rocket fire as a serious matter, especially after an Israeli civilian was shot on the Gaza border on Wednesday.

Defense officials said Israel was seeking to respond in a way that would “not cause an escalation but convey the message that incidents on the border and rocket launches are unacceptable.”

The Beirut-based Al-Mayadeen TV, citing unnamed sources, said the Hamas terror group informed Egyptian mediators that if Israel strikes in Gaza, it would lead to a response.

Egypt reportedly urged Israel not to respond at all to the rocket fire.

On Saturday morning, the IDF said two rockets were fired from Gaza toward central Israel. Video circulating on social media showed one explode in the sea off the coast of Jaffa, next to Tel Aviv, while the second reportedly landed off the coast of Palmachim, south of the city of Rishon Lezion.

According to Kan, Israeli officials believe the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group was responsible for the rocket fire, and not Gaza’s rulers, Hamas. The network said Hamas conveyed to Israel via Egyptian mediators that it was not responsible.

Trump-appointed FDIC chairman resigns after warning of 'hostile takeover' of agency by Democrats

Directors have butted heads in recent weeks.

Jelena McWilliams, appointed by President Donald Trump in 2018 as chairwoman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, has resigned from her post her, just weeks after warning of a "hostile takeover" of the agency's leadership by Democrats.

In a letter Friday to President Biden, McWilliams, a Serbian-born lawyer and an immigrant to the U.S., said she would be leave at the beginning of February.

"Serving the American people alongside the dedicated career professionals of the FDIC has been the highlight of my professional life," she wrote.

The letter did not specify a reason for McWilliams's resignation. But in a Wall Street Journal op-ed in mid-December, she had warned of a "hostile takeover" of the agency's board by Democratic officials.

Those officials had been butting heads with McWilliams in recent weeks over various procedural issues related to the leadership of the board.

Rohit Chopra, the director of the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau and a member of the FDIC board, had claimed earlier in December that McWilliams was stymying efforts by him and other Democratic-aligned officials to review bank merger rules.

It’s Official: California is Now a Universal Vote-by-Mail State

This is exactly what the Democrats want in every state.

California’s universal vote-by-mail became permanent on Saturday after Governor Newsom used Covid as an excuse to mail out millions of ballots during the 2020 election.

Governor Gavin Newsom signed the bill into law in September and it went into effect January 1, 2022.

Under the new law, all voters will be mailed ballots for statewide and local elections.

The Los Angeles Times reported:

California’s pandemic-inspired move toward mailing a ballot to every registered, active voter will become a permanent part of the state’s political landscape, an embrace of an extended and flexible voting process instead of the traditional focus on a single day of voting in person.

Gov. Gavin Newsom’s signature Monday on Assembly Bill 37 makes California the eighth state in the nation with a law on the books requiring every voter to be mailed a ballot. The new law is part of an evolution of voting in the state over the last two decades, an effort to provide voters more options for when and where to cast their ballots.

“Data shows that sending everyone a ballot in the mail provides voters access. And when voters get ballots in the mail, they vote,” Assemblyman Marc Berman (D-Palo Alto), the bill’s author, said during a Senate committee hearing in July.

Newsom bragged about the new vote-by-mail law that makes it easier for Democrats to steal elections.
