Jan. 6 committee set to go public, Cheney claims ‘full picture coming to light, despite Trump efforts to hide’

January 2, 2022

The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 so-called “insurrection” is gearing up to release their findings intended to vilify former President Donald Trump within months.

Although the team has collected over 35,000 pages of information and interviewed over 300 people in connection with the events that took place that day, they face an uphill battle to convince a large portion of the population that their findings are objective. This is particularly important after a report last month indicated that committee member Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) doctored a text message used in a hearing to issue subpoenas and hold people in contempt of Congress.

“The full picture is coming to light, despite President Trump’s ongoing efforts to hide the picture,” the committee’s vice chairman Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) said according to a report by ABC News.

“I don’t think there’s any area of this broader history in which we aren’t learning new things,” she added.

The ragtag team conducting the “investigation” includes five Democrats and two Republicans handpicked by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), after House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) declined to participate in the committee calling it a “sham.”

The next phase of their process slated to begin within the coming weeks will include hearings that are aimed to “bring the people who conducted the elections to Washington and tell their story,” according to the chairman, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) He believes their testimony will confirm that the election was conducted on the straight and narrow and without fraud.

“I think that the challenge that we face is that the attacks on our democracy are continuing — they didn’t come to an end on Jan. 6,” said Schiff.

Cheney – an outspoken anti-Trumper who was elected as a Republican but recently had that title effectively stripped from her by the Wyoming GOP – places a lot of weight on the outcome of the investigation.

“I think this is one of the single most important congressional investigations in history,” Cheney remarked.

Thompson seemed to indicate that the outcome of the investigation was a forgone conclusion stressing the importance of making the panel’s findings heard and “that it was an organized effort to change the outcome of the election by bringing people to Washington… and ultimately if all else failed, weaponize the people who came by sending them to the Capitol.”

But the American people who are paying attention have already seen substantial evidence with even the liberal New York Times giving credence to the possibility that Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents were “deeply involved in the events of Jan. 6.” Documentaries including Fox News’ Tucker Carlson’s “Patriot Purge” and Nick Searcy’s “Capitol Punishment,” show that the idea might not be as outlandish as the House investigation committee would like you to believe.

Another Trump critic and the second token Republican on the panel Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) seemed pleased that there were no Trump supporters on the committee that could obstruct their work because it would make it “a very different scene.”

“I think in five or 10 years, when school kids learn about Jan. 6, they’re going to get the accurate story,” Kinzinger explained. “And I think that’s going to be dependent on what we do here.”

Jan. 6 committee chair Benny Thompson offers a stunning take on potential Trump criminal actions

The chairman of the Democrat-run House Select Committee on January 6 made an admission during a CNN interview on Sunday that critics will likely seize upon as evidence that the panel’s probe is largely a partisan exercise.

CNN’s Dana Bash asked Rep. Bennie Thompson whether former President Donald Trump broke any laws on that day nearly a year ago when rioters assailed the U.S. Capitol Building as he was still giving a speech during a “Stop The Steal” event.

But the Mississippi Democrat told Bash he couldn’t answer that question.

During the interview, Bash asked if Trump’s alleged “lack of action on Jan. 6 may actually warrant a criminal referral.”

“The only thing I can say is highly unusual for any in charge of anything to watch what’s going on and do nothing,” Thompson responded.

Maybe so, but Bash countered with a question: “Is it criminal?”

“We don’t know,” was Thompson’s bizarre response. “We are in the process of trying to get all the information.”

He added: “But I can say if there’s anything that we come upon as a committee that we think would warrant a referral to the Department of Justice, we’ll do that. That’s our oath as members of Congress. So it’s not just that. It’s any of the other things we’re looking at, if there’s any confidence on the part of our committee that something criminal we believe has occurred, we’ll make the referral.”

The panel contends that Trump waited 187 minutes to take action on the day the Capitol was breached by protesters, however various timelines show that within 30 minutes of that breach, the former president tweeted: “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”

Just over 30 minutes later, as rioters reached the Senate floor, Trump appealed for peace a second time, tweeting: “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”

Bash followed up by asking if the Democrat-controlled panel has “learned from witness testimony more about what [Trump] was or wasn’t doing?”

“Yes, we have. We have significant testimony that leads us to believe that the White House had been told to do something,” Thompson said. “We want to verify all of it so that when we produce our report and when we have the hearings, the public will have an opportunity to see for themselves.

“But Dana,” he continued, “to be honest with you, what occurred Jan. 6 played out in full view of the American public and the world and we want to make sure that that never ever happens again, so we need to get it right, get all the facts and circumstances and that’s what the committee’s body of work is about, doing it at this point.”

“Did or has the former president obstructed an official proceeding of Congress?” Bash asked.

Thompson, however, completely avoided the question.

“Well, what he’s doing is the typical Donald Trump modus operandi. He sues. He goes to court. He tries to delay. If he continues to be successful at delaying, obviously it inhibits the committee’s work. We’re doing a lot, but we have to have access to the records,” the Mississippi Democrat said.

“President Biden has said executive privilege does not apply. So we think that we will have a lot of access to the records necessary for us to have complete access to the work,” he said, none of which has anything to do with Bash’s question.

“If we have access to the records, then former President Trump’s wishes on delaying will have no bearing our work,” he added.

Last month, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), the committee vice-chair and frequent Trump critic, erroneously claimed that the then-president did not act for a full 187 minutes, a claim that wasn’t supported by timelines published by mainstream media outlets.

American Gulag Part 3

Forgotten History by the Demshits & Rino Traitors of our country in DC

Political Prisoners being held by the Demcrat/NWO/Rino Destroy America at By all means necessary, no matter the death toll, Politicians.

May 1967 —30 HEAVILY ARMED: Black Panthers Invade Capital…Armed with guns and bullets, Black Panthers Invade Capital in California in 1967 while 8th graders visiting with Gov. Reagan…released & charges dropped….a slap on the wrist compared to Jan 6 unarmed political prisoners, illegally held with no speedy trial, yet today…substandard conditions and treatment by dems & rinos!!!!

On Tuesday May 2, 1967, clad in dark leather jackets, black berets, dark sunglasses and carrying rifles, pistols, and shotguns, roughly 30 members of the Black Panther Party marched to the California State Capitol. Governor Ronald Reagan was hosting a gathering of eighth-graders on the front lawn when they arrived. He was rushed inside as the well disciplined group made its way up the Capitol steps. A California State Policeman halted them and asked them to state their business. They handed him a pamphlet outlining the groups goals and intent which he read over quickly as the Panthers waited patiently. He told them that they did have a right to bear arms and were allowed inside the Capitol as long as they remained peaceful.

After entering, the group made its way to the second floor where the Assembly Chamber was, intent on reading “Executive Mandate Number 1” in opposition to the Mulford Act. Several members pushed their way through the two Sergeant at Arms stationed at the assembly doors and stormed the floor. Many legislators were shocked, later saying they did not expect this much opposition to the bill. Police and delegates quickly responded, removing those within the chamber and barring the entrance to keep the others outside. During the interaction one Panther raised his revolver in the air but it was quickly snatched by police. There were more tense scenes once they were all back out in the hallway as the revolutionaries began yelling at police and legislators, prompting the officers to confiscate their guns.

The group now assembled in the Capitol’s State Police office and began arguing with the officers to demand the return of their guns. It was a bombastic scene. Panthers yelled, officers argued back while trying to make phone calls, and news reporters jabbed their microphones towards anyone trying to speak. After a few strained minutes the officer who greeted the group when they first entered the Capitol came and settled the situation by giving them their weapons back. As they rearmed themselves they realized that since all the reporters were already gathered around them it would be a good time to read their executive mandate. After they were finished they went out on the front lawn and read it once more.

Upon leaving the Capitol the group decided to stop for gas before returning to Oakland, this proved to be a bad idea as police surrounded their cars and placed most of them under arrest. In total 24 were taken into custody with 11 weapons being confiscated. They were charged with disrupting the legislature while it was in session and conspiracy to commit criminal acts, though several had the charges against them dropped later on.

Many people see the NRA as a bastion for gun rights and are shocked whenever they find out that the organization supported the Mulford Act.
