I've seen infiltration happen.

First they infiltrate the HR department. They usually have interesting backgrounds, like Peace Corps or degrees in Business Psychology.

Then the HR department provides you the resumes they've already vetted.

Then you hire them.

Then they hire more of their friends.

Then they get promoted

Then they promote their friends.

Then they control the company.

They don't need to own it at all.

In many companies, Diversity is its own department within HR now, but yeah this is one of the methods. Diversity is usually used as the excuse for having you hire someone of color.

I haven't even seen a resume for a white guy since 2011.
