One step closer to Alien ff:
Life on Venus could be reality, say scientists
While Venus might not have the ideal climate for humans, it might still be a welcoming host to other beings
That’s according to a new study, which suggests life forms could be lurking in the planet’s acidic clouds.
Any life found on Venus would have to be drastically different from us, since temperatures on Venus routinely reach 464 degrees Celsius (867 degrees Fahrenheit), but the existence of ammonia and phosphine found in a chemical model of the Venusian atmosphere does indicate some biological processes could be taking place.
While still just a hypothesis, the team behind the study hopes that one day humanity will be able to bring a real cloud sample back to see what might live within.
