Problem (in this area, anyway) is, they don't know how to. Rerlatives still down anon for not "texting". (Can't talk like a human being, then fuck you. No love lost. These people aren't brain surgeons, or rescue, or lawyers… with clients, they're 9-to-5ers.)
Few years ago, sibling, when asked why they won't return any calls/messages left, flat-out said "Want to talk to me, you have to text." They gone. Don't miss them one bit.
People are zombies with their screens and always looking down. Nobody will even look at anyone any more. Conditioned and desentitized.
