She was told she had aids. She was pregnant at the time and a good friend of mine married her. It was his son.
Their son was healthy and she ended up dying. My friend raised the son. Still never heard of fauci back then.
I remember watching rock hudson, being removed from a plane on a stretcher, . He was dying of AIDS. That was the big chock back then Rock Hudson gay and dying of the gay disease(or drug disease)

I will admit to be involved in drug use at the time and we were all scared shitless. None of us, including the friend who married her, contracted AIDS. She was in the forefront of supporting gays at the time.
It was a couple of lifetimes ago and a very strange abnormal life for me. The drug use lasted only about 1 1/2 yrs. . It just seemed like a silly way to spend one's life We never got in debt nor losing anything valuable. except time, I suppose.
A heck of a learning experience at least.
