NEW U.S. DOLLAR BILLS COMING!!!

A woman has reported her sister went to an ATM in Canada to withdraw money.

She said she withdrew a few hundred dollars from the ATM but received "funny looking U.S. dollar bills" and was charged a 30% fee for an exchange rate.

She went to a different branch because that branch's office was closed. She spoke with a teller who said they shouldn't have released the new U.S. dollar bills yet and that she shouldn't have been charged 30% because they were 1 to 1 with the U.S. dollar.

She didn't mention if the Canadian bills were different, so perhaps they are remaining the same.
