The confidence climb is a bitch. It's a real bitch if you're short. If the top cross piece is on top of the post you have nothing to help you over the top. It's fucking terrifying. I saw a guy freeze about 60' up. No amount of cursing from the D.I. would motivate him. The D.I. went up like a monkey to get him and the guy, who was already frozen in terror just spazzed and couldn't hang on. They carried him away like a sack of potatoes.
