The Iranian/Persian community centered in Westwood is a welcome addition to Los Angeles. My dealings with them over the years has been a highlight of living in the area. I was involved with a number of fundraising events for their private schools, which told me they care about their children enough to not have them exposed to the LAUSD public school system. They also have their own radio station, broadcasting half English, half Farsi. Their reporting is mostly politically conservative, and not supportive of the Iranian regime, or the dopes in DC.
If a civil war ever broke out in Los Angeles, with liberals on a rampage and carving up the city for control and defensive positioning, Westwood would be a safe place for a patriot, and an excellent geographic location for conducting ops in the heart of the beast.
