Kamala Harris: Jan. 6 Riot Like Bombing of Pearl Harbor, 9/11 Terror Attacks

Joel B. Pollak6 Jan 2022

Here we go, reinforce the rhetoric and lies. She more stupid than Bidan

Vice President Kamala Harris kicked off the Biden administration’s remarks on the first anniversary of the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot by comparing it to the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941, and the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

“Certain dates echo throughout history, including dates that instantly remind all who have lived through them where they were and what they were doing when our democracy came under assault. Dates that occupy not only a place in our calendars, but a place in our collective memory. December 7th, 1941. September 11, 2001. And January 6th, 2021.”

More than 2,400 Americans died in the Pearl Harbor attack, and nearly 3,000 Americans died in the 9/11 terror attacks.

Harris, who participated in a Black Lives Matter protest outside the White House in May 2020 just hours after rioters attacked policearound the building, injuring dozens, assaulting journalists, and forcing the evacuation of the president into a bunker, declared of the Capitol rioters: “What they sought to degrade and destroy was not only a building, hallowed as it is. What they were assaulting were the institutions, the values, the ideals that generations of Americans have marched, picketed, and shed blood to establish and defend.”

The Vice President, who spread claims of Russian collusion with Trump, warned Americans about “peddling lies and information by some radical faction that may be resurgent, but whose roots run old and deep,” hinting at Donald Trump, and suggesting a connection between Trump supporters and extremism.

Report: North Korean Military Fears ‘Rising Trend of Insubordination’

Gabrielle Reyes6 Jan 2022

Hmmm?? Radio Free Asia making up stories, aka propaganda

As many as ten soldiers in the North Korean military force, the Korean People’s Army, allegedly “confronted their superiors” in a “violent” manner over the last three months of 2021, Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported on Tuesday citing the account of an unnamed North Korean military official.

“In the last three months of 2021, as many as 10 soldiers have violently confronted their superiors nationwide,” a Korean People’s Army official from North Korea’s northeastern province of North Hamgyong told RFA on December 20, 2021.

“At the end of November, a company-level officer of the 45th Division under the 9th Corps asked several times to his superior battalion to let him help solve a family issue and take care of his own personal health issue, but when he was ignored, he confronted his superior with a weapon while he was drunk,” the anonymous North Korean army source told the news service.

The source further alleged that a company-level officer in the Korean People’s Army attempted suicide sometime in December after a supervisor denied his request for assistance with an undisclosed personal problem.

“Even earlier this month, in a unit under the 3rd Corps, a company-level officer had a personal problem and appealed to a superior to help solve it,” the anonymous North Korean military told RFA on December 20.

“But when the senior officer ignored it, the company-level officer attempted to kill himself with a communication cable around his neck,” he claimed.

The alleged confrontations have provoked concern among North Korean military leaders who “fear” the phenomenon may lead to “a rising trend of insubordination within the military,” according to RFA, a U.S. government-funded broadcaster.

RFA said its North Korean military “sources” blamed the recent spate of disputes between soldiers and officers of the Korean People’s Army on “stresses presented by a worsening North Korean economy due in part to COVID [Chinese coronavirus] restrictions that have largely shut off trade with China.”

The Korean People’s Army is fairly representative of the greater North Korean population, as Pyongyang requires every able-bodied man in North Korea to join the nation’s armed forces for a minimum of seven years. Though long-stifled by Pyongyang’s ruling Communist regime, the North Korean population has suffered an increase in hardship over the past two years since its leader, Kim Jong-un, ordered his country’s border with China to close in January 2020 in response to the then-emerging Chinese coronavirus.

The action ushered in an ongoing economic crisis that has pushed the nation to the brink of starvation.

North Korea’s economy contracted by 4.5 percent in 2020 in direct response to its border shutdown with China, which is traditionally Pyongyang’s top trading ally.

“This marks North Korea’s steepest economic decline since the days of massive famine in the 1990s,” the Brookings Institution observed in November 2021.

“Heavy economic sanctions levied against North Korea since 2016 [to deter its nuclear proliferation] had already reduced external trade despite ongoing sanctions evasion,” the Washington D.C.-based think tank noted.

Colleges Move to Remote Classes over Omicron After Taking Coronavirus Relief Funds

Dr. Susan Berry5 Jan 2022

The biggest grift of all time, COVID relief is money laundering

The Biden Education Department handed over more than $76 billion in coronavirus relief funding to U.S. colleges and universities, yet many of these schools are beginning the new semester with remote classes only, even after mandating all students take COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.

In July, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona announced an additional outlay from the federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF), via the Democrats’ American Rescue Plan, which increased the funding to more than $76 billion:

The American Rescue Plan provided critical funds to make sure our nation’s institutions of higher education – particularly those that serve students most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic – receive the resources they need in order to provide students with a high-quality education and the social, emotional and mental health supports to earn their degrees and thrive. These institutions have a long history of serving our students—particularly students of color, first-generation college students, and other students who are underrepresented in higher education—and the Department stands ready to support them so they can expand their vital services.

Despite the funding and its purpose, however, many schools that accepted it are not using it to provide students with that “high-quality education.”

Brad Polumbo, opinion editor at the Foundation for Economic Education, wrote Monday at Newsweek the move to revert to online learning amid the rise of “Omicron,” which has largely been associated with mild, cold-like symptoms, “is no small matter.”

It’s nothing short of a betrayal of students,” he asserted. “And it’s one that has no legitimate basis in science or public health.”

Polumbo said college students blocked from in-person classes, extracurricular experiences, and necessary social/networking interactions will ultimately encounter the harms associated with a forced “laptop” college education.

He added a College Pulse survey released in May 2021 found a majority of college students believed they learned less with remote classes, with 81 percent stating they experienced difficulty concentrating during online lectures:

The ugly truth is that in exchange for tens of thousands of dollars in tuition, these students are getting a virtual education that resembles what they could get at a cheap online university or local community college. (In fairness, they’ll still get the fancy name on their degree, which is what many truly care about. That’s probably why not many students dropped out in 2020 despite the “virtual learning” calamity.)

As Fox Business noted last week, Yale University announced before Christmas its undergraduate and graduate classes would be held remotely through February 4, despite having been awarded over $5.2 million from HEERF.

Peter Salovey, the school’s president, and Scott Strobel, its provost, noted “a recent, worldwide surge in COVID-19 cases, driven by the highly infectious Omicron strain, has prompted us to raise alert levels on campus and adjust our plans to best protect our community.”

“As always, our priority is the health and well-being of everyone on campus and those in our surrounding community,” the officials wrote. “Yale College and GSAS courses will be taught online from January 25 through February 4.”

According to the Yale Daily News Facebook account:

Similarly, officials of Duke University, which had been awarded over $26.8 million from HEERF, announced December 31 they “have all watched with great concern the extraordinarily rapid spread of the Omicron variant in our communities and around the world.”

The announcement read:

All undergraduate, graduate, and professional school classes will now be remote until Tuesday, January 18 instead of January 10 as earlier announced. During this time, no hybrid or in-person classes will be permitted.

Other schools that received HEERF funds yet announced a return to remote classes or a delay in the start of the semester included Temple University and University of Washington, Vanderbilt University, and University of Miami, as Fox Business cited.
