The fact that ted cruz chose the Jan. 6 issue to come out and show himself as a traitor makes me wonder if Jan 6 isn't a more important part of their strategy. I know it is already a big deal but for someone like him to give up his career over this makes me wonder what other Jan. 6th events they have planned.
