First time anything difficult happened in the Trump administration, Cernovitch started screaming it's TEOTWAWKI.. He's the male version of Ann Coulter. Always seemed like a scammer, to me.
Have to figure Trump had to distance himself financially from any Jan 6 issues. In retrospect, a good move as we see all the Trump people being subpoenaed. Anyone helping him would have been on the shit list. I'm sure Trump has lawyers better than Cernovitch advising him. Trump himself and his family are under heavy fire.
Think through a scenario of Trump NOT calling for a rally and speech on Jan 6. If Pelosi wanted a Capitol assault, she certainly could have called up the IC to make one. Then the MSM would have been called upon to run stories of Trump sitting in the Oval Office, scheming, Nixon-like.
Trump, by calling a rally holding a speech, that ran later than the start of the alleged break-in, and also having that many people peacefully walking the streets in DC, created an alibi for himself. There was really no incendiary talk in the speech, and no call to storm the Capitol. IIRC, people said it was kind of boring, just a rehash of campaign speeches.
Trump could have known something was brewing and screwed timing up for pro-active reasons. Might have to do with the electors tally.
Back to Cernovitch, though,. He's a member of the punditry class that needs the situation in DC to be status quo, or as corrupt as it is now. No one who needs DC, as it is now, for financial purposes is trustworthy, IMO. Any anti-Trump messenger has to pass the future career potential filter before it can be considered neutral.
