Reuters Data Scientist Fired After Nuking BLM Narrative, Exposing 'Significant Left-Wing Bias' In Reporting

On Tuesday, we republished a column from a journalist who resigned from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation because the network exhibited such extreme left-wing bias and propaganda that she couldn't be a part of it any longer.

Today, bring you the story of Zac Kriegman, a former Reuters data scientist who was fired after performing a statistical analysis which refuted claims by Black Lives Matter, and spoke out against the company's culture of "diversity and inclusion" which unquestioningly celebrated the BLM narrative.

As journalist Chris F. Rufo writes in City Journal: "Driven by what he called a “moral obligation” to speak out, Kriegman refused to celebrate unquestioningly the BLM narrative and his company’s “diversity and inclusion” programming; to the contrary, he argued that Reuters was exhibiting significant left-wing bias in the newsroom and that the ongoing BLM protests, riots, and calls to “defund the police” would wreak havoc on minority communities."

Week after week, Kriegman felt increasingly disillusioned by the Thomson Reuters line. Finally, on the first Tuesday in May 2021, he posted a long, data-intensive critique of BLM’s and his company’s hypocrisy. He was sent to Human Resources and Diversity & Inclusion for the chance to reform his thoughts. -

Kriegman, who has a bachelors in economics from Michigan, a JD from Harvard, and "years of experience with high-tech startups, a white-shoe law firm, and an econometrics research consultancy," spent six years at Thomson Reuters, where he rose through the ranks to spearhead the company's efforts on AI, machine learning, and advanced software engineering. By the time he was fired, he was the Director of Data Science, and lead a team which was in the process of implementing deep learning throughout the corporation.

Following the death of George Floyd, Kriegman described Reuters as a "blue bubble" where "people were constantly celebrating Black Lives Matter, where it was assumed that everyone was on board."

The company asked employees to participated in a "21-Day Racial Equity Habit-Building Challenge," which promoted reparations, academic articles on critical race theory (on which Rufo has written extensively), and instructions on "how to be a better white person."

Dick and Liz Cheney Join Democrats for January 6 Capitol Festivities

Former Vice President Dick Cheney and daughter Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) joined Democrats for Thursday’s January 6 festivities at the Capitol building.

After Democrats reportedly introduced themselves on the House floor to the former vice president, Dick Cheney slammed the Republican leadership for enacting American First policies while praising his daughter for “doing a hell of a job” combating those policies.

“It’s not a leadership that resembles any of the folks I knew when I was here for 10 years,” Dick Cheney, who was the former House whip in the 80s, said.

“I’m deeply disappointed we don’t have better leadership in the Republican Party to restore the Constitution,” he continued.

“It’s an important historical event,” Dick Cheney added about the January 6 festivities. “You can’t overestimate how important it is.”

“It’s great coming back,” he told reporters before assuring the establishment media that not only is his daughter “doing a hell of a job,” but he is “here to support her.”

House Republicans ousted Liz Cheney from Republican leadership in 2021 for losing the trust of the caucus after siding with Democrats during House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) impeachment trials of former President Donald Trump.

Pelosi also named Liz to the January 6 investigatory committee.

The family of tennis champion Novak Djokovic read a statement from the player at a press conference on Thursday in his native Belgrade, Serbia, delivered from captivity in a migrant facility in Australia.

Australian authorities apprehended Djokovic upon arriving in Melbourne on Wednesday to prepare to compete in the Australian Open, one of the four top tournaments in professional tennis. Djokovic had published a social media post before getting on his flight to the country stating that he had received an “exemption” from the country’s onerous coronavirus vaccine requirements that would allow him to partake without being vaccinated. Upon landing, however, officials canceled his visa and rejected the paperwork he reportedly offered showing authorities he had received a medical exemption.

Reports on the ground suggest that the paperwork Djokovic offered came from Tennis Australia, the organization running the Australian Open, and not the federal government. Tennis Australia advertised Djokovic’s presence at the tournament long before the player weighed in.

There's a 'good chance' Novak Djokovic will be allowed to play at the Australian Open, a top lawyer suggests.

'My guess is that there is a pretty good chance he will be playing at the Australian Open,' Justin Quill, a media and litigation lawyer at Thomson Geer Lawyers, told the Herald Sun.

'I suspect not so much because he is going to win his case, but that he is going to be found that there needs more time, and he will be allowed to stay in the country, compete in the Australian Open.'

On Thursday, Prime Minister Scott Morrison revealed Djokovic's visa had been cancelled because he 'didn't meet the requirements of entry'.

He had reportedly received a medical exemption from Tennis Australia and the Victorian Government to enter the country, but upon further questioning from border force it was determined he did not satisfy the conditions.

Djokovic's legal team took the matter to the Federal Court of Australia in an attempt to have the decision swiftly overturned.

On Thursday, the court ordered Djokovic could remain in the country until at least Monday 4pm. It's hoped the matter will be settled in court that day.

Tennis Australia have indicated they want a decision as to whether Djokovic can play in the Grand Slam no later than Tuesday 'for scheduling purposes'.

But there are some suggestions the matter could blow out for weeks or even months

‘Subway’ Jared Fogle speaks for first time from prison: ‘I royally screwed up’

Subway pitchman-turned-convicted pedophile Jared Fogle has finally showed some remorse for his crimes — but it’s more about what happened to him than what he did.

“I really royally screwed up to wind up where I am,” the father-of-two wrote in a hand-written letter dated Nov. 7, 2021, and exclusively obtained by The Post. “I was selfish and entitled.”

Fogle — who prosecutors said had some 400 child-porn videos in his possession — pleaded guilty in August 2015 to a child pornography charge and paying for sex with an underage girl after traveling from Indiana to New York City. He was ordered to pay $1.4 million in restitution to 14 victims.

He is now serving 15 years and eight months at the Federal Correctional Institution (F.C.I.) in Englewood, Colo.

‘We’re Gonna Need a Booster in the Fall of ’22 and Forward’ – Moderna CEO Pushes Fourth Covid Jab

Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel on Thursday said people will likely need a Covid booster by the fall of 2022 to increase their protection against the China virus.

Bancel said the efficacy of the current booster shot will decline over the next several months and people will need a fourth jab before winter 2022.

People with underlying health conditions will need annual Covid boosters indefinitely, according to Bancel.

Bancel’s comments come just one day after the CDC said the term ‘fully vaccinated’ is being replaced with ‘up-to-date’ shots.

Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel on Thursday said the efficacy of boosters against Covid-19 will likely decline over time, and people may need a fourth shot in the fall of 2022 to increase their protection.

Bancel said people who received their boosters in the fall of 2021 will likely have enough protection to get them through the winter, when new infections surge as people gather indoors to escape the cold.

However, Bancel said the efficacy of boosters will probably decline over the course of several months, similar to what happened with the first two doses. The Moderna chief was interviewed by Goldman Sachs during the investment bank’s health-care CEO conference.

“I still believe we’re going to need boosters in the fall of ’22 and forward,” Bancel said, adding that people who are older or have underlying health conditions might need annual boosters for years to come.

“We have been saying that we believe first this virus is not going away,” Bancel said. “We’re gonna have to live with it.”
