Democrats Explore Barring Trump From Holding Office Over Jan. 6 Riot

A handful of congressional Democrats are investigating whether former President Donald Trump can be prevented from holding elected office again through the application of an obscure portion of the 14th Amendment.
Section 3 of the amendment, enacted in 1868 and best known for enshrining the Equal Protection Clause, prevents any government official who “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the US from holding office again.
According to The Hill, approximately a dozen Democratic lawmakers have publicly or privately spoken about applying Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to Trump, whom they accuse of inciting the Jan. 6 riot that disrupted the congressional certification of the 2020 election results.
“If anything the idea has waxed and waned,” liberal Harvard Law School professor emeritus Laurence Tribe told the outlet.
“I hear it being raised with considerable frequency these days both by media commentators and by members of Congress and their staffs, some of whom have sought my advice on how to implement Section 3.”
Tribe has met with the staffs of Reps. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), a member of the House select committee investigating the riot, Jerry Nadler (D-NY), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.).
The offices of all three members did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
“I continue to explore all legal paths to ensure that the people who tried to subvert our democracy are not in charge of it,” Wasserman Schultz said to The Hill.
It’s unclear what mechanism would be used to apply Section 3 to Trump. Some experts say the House and Senate could vote by a simple majority to find the 45th president engaged in insurrection against the government. Others, including Tribe, say the determination would need to be made by a federal court or a neutral fact-finding body.
Some left-wing groups are also exploring the possibility of applying the amendment without going through Congress.
One such group, Free Speech For People, has urged state election officials to apply the amendment if Trump decides to run for president again, which would prevent his name from showing up on ballots.

Judge Gives FDA Just Over 8 Months to Produce Pfizer’s Safety Data
A federal judge on Thursday ordered the U.S. Food and Drug administration to produce the documents it’s relied on to license the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, at a rate of 55,000 pages a month.
The rate of 55,000 pages a month would mean the FDA has just over eight months to fully produce all of Pfizer’s pre-licensure safety data—far more than what the FDA proposed in December 2021, which was to produce documents at a minimum rate of 500 pages a month or faster where feasible. That rate would have effectively given the agency a minimum of 75 years to fully produce the data, Aaron Siri, a lawyer working on the case, previously observed.
Specifically, U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman ordered the FDA to produce more than 12,000 pages on or before Jan. 31, which was what the FDA had proposed. Pittman then ordered the agency to “produce the remaining documents at a rate of 55,000 pages every 30 days, with the first production being due on or before March 1, 2022, until production is complete.”
“Here, the court recognizes the ‘unduly burdensome’ challenges that this FOIA request may present to the FDA … But, as expressed at the scheduling conference, there may not be a ‘more important issue at the Food and Drug Administration … than the pandemic, the Pfizer vaccine, getting every American vaccinated, [and] making sure that the American public is assured that this was not rush[ed] on behalf of the United States.
“Accordingly, the court concludes that this FOIA request is of paramount public importance,” Pittman wrote in the order (pdf).
The case was brought by the Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency (PHMPT), which said the data should be made public quickly, because the FDA took just 108 days to review the data before granting the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine full approval.
“Pfizer began its rolling submission on May 7, 2021, and the vaccine was licensed on August 23, 2021, a total of 108 days from initial submission to licensure,” the non-profit group noted in a December filing (pdf).
The group, which comprises public health professionals, medical professionals, scientists, and journalists, includes Dr. Harvey Risch, a professor of epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health, Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, who was until recently a professor of psychiatry at UC Irvine’s School of Medicine, and Dr. Peter McCullough, a cardiologist, epidemiologist, and internist.
The Pfizer vaccine is currently the only COVID-19 vaccine that has been approved by U.S. drug regulators.
“All the documents sought in the FOIA request are urgently needed to allow independent scientists to review the FDA’s work and to provide assurance to the public that the liability-free vaccine [Americans] are being mandated to receive has truly passed the most rigorous review possible,” the group said in its filing in December, adding, “[T]he need for this information will be lost if all the documents are not promptly produced because people and governments are making decisions regarding the Pfizer vaccine now, not in 75 years.”
In the initial complaint (pdf), the PHMPT said there is an “urgent” need for public to access the data and information underlying the FDA’s licensure of the Pfizer vaccine, due to widespread and ongoing debate in the medical community about whether the vaccine is “safe and effective,” and due to the “objections of many” regarding current vaccine mandates across the United States.
“This is a great win for transparency and removes one of the strangleholds federal ‘health’ authorities have had on the data needed for independent scientists to offer solutions and address serious issues with the current vaccine program—issues which include waning immunity, variants evading vaccine immunity, and, as the CDC has confirmed, that the vaccines do not prevent transmission,” Siri said in a blog post on Jan. 6.

Health Minister Questioned About “Explosion in Stillbirths” Among Fully Vaccinated Mothers

Rick Nicholls, a Canadian member of the Ontario Provincial Parliament, confronted Ontario’s Minister of Health (MOH) Christine Elliott last week about the supposed sharp rise in stillbirths being recorded in fully vaccinated women.
Nicholls began his statement by revealing his daughter had a healthy baby back when doctors were still warning pregnant mothers to avoid taking the new mRNA Covid vaccines.
A few months later, doctors said it was fine for expecting mothers to take the experimental vaccines, and in the city of Waterloo, there was said to be a 21x increase in stillbirths compared to an average of six per year.
“In the Waterloo area, 86 stillbirths have occurred from January to July,” Nicholls said. “And, normally it’s roughly one stillbirth every two months. But here’s the kicker – mothers of stillbirth babies were fully vaccinated, and you have clearly said on numerous occasions that the vaccines are safe.”
Other parliament members and people in the crowd let out groans and objections as MPP Nicholls spoke.
Ignoring the haters, he continued, “So minister, what do you say to the doctors who told expecting women it was okay to get fully vaccinated and what should they tell the mothers who deliver a stillborn baby?”
MOH Elliot answered Nicholls by first congratulating him on becoming a grandfather before generically claiming the Covid vaccines are safe and recommended for women who are expecting a child.
The health minister offered no data or statistics to back her claims.
A video released by a man called Dr. Daniel Nagase at the end of November detailed what he called a startling increase in stillbirths in the Waterloo area.
The doctor obtained the Waterloo data through a provincial prosecutor who got the information from a nurse working at the hospital.
Doulas working at a birthing center in Vancouver, Canada are saying they witnessed 13 stillbirths within a 24-hour period.

The Chief of Obstetrician and Gynecology at Cambridge Memorial Hospital came forward after the allegations and said, “This year, we have had 982 deliveries in Cambridge and four still-births. That is a still-birth rate of 0.41 percent, which is our average.”
However, the statistics are not publicly available and there would technically be no penalty if the hospital were to lie about the numbers.
“We have a right to all the information and all the details,” Dr. Nagase said.
One thing is sure, the possible correlation between the experimental Covid injections and stillbirths must be investigated thoroughly.

Stillbirths Explode in Canada
In November 2021, RAIR Foundation USA reported that stillbirths in fully “vaccinated” women are exploding in Canada,
….in Waterloo, Ontario, 86 cases have been reported in six months, compared to typically five to six per year, says doctor Daniel Nagase. “That is highly unusual.”
At Lions Gate Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, 13 stillbirths were recorded over 24 hours, reported the doctor. Until recently, Dr. Nagase worked at an Alberta hospital but said he was fired after treating three covid patients with ivermectin at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre.”
Soviet Style Detention
On December 8, Dr. Bruchet had an argument with a tenant over loud music in his apartment building (a relatively common occurrence). It is unclear whether the tenant reported him as a candidate for the mental health act or someone else. Suddenly, Dr. Bruchet was targeted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
While Dr. Nagase was being interviewed in his home, three RCMP squad cars and six RCMP officers descended on Dr. Bruchet and hauled him off in handcuffs for a “psych evaluation.”
The first diagnosis made by the hospital was “frontal lobe dementia” after taking a PET scan. According to Dr. Nagase, such a situation normally does not warrant detention – just diagnosis and sending the individual home. Since Bruchet is 81, anyone outside the situation might assume that was correct. It was not.
Dr. Nagase was apprised of the situation and managed to get him out of the Psych ward on a day pass with the promise of returning on his own recognizance. Dr. Bruchet returned due to the hospital’s threats they would send the police after him.
The hospital then did a second evaluation and diagnosed him with “mania,” a condition that presumes the person may have outbursts and perhaps even be dangerous. They then took away the doctor’s phone access.
Dr. Nagase was concerned that the hospital might have given him Abilify, a medicine often used to treat mental and mood disorders that should not be given to elderly patients. In addition, the doctor was concerned because Dr. Bruchet was abnormally slurring his words. A common side effect of the powerful anti-psychotic medication.
The Soviet Union notoriously used psychiatric medicine to discredit dissidents. The Soviets often claimed that dissidents had “mental issues” and would lock them up in asylums, keep them drugged, and eventually they would die. How is this any different?
The question remains: was Dr. Bruchet unlawfully detained because he exposed the connection of stillbirths to the Covid vaccines? Or because he argued with his tenant over loud music? Or was Dr. Bruchet’s age a convenient excuse? “Dr. Mel,” as he is affectionately known, practiced medicine for many years in British Columbia.
