Just gonna slide by the CAPTCHA before I try to figure out how to express the non-trivial point.
Since we are the news now, we have to be able to issue retractions when our notable stories do not pan out.
Recently a lot of us got over-excited about an apparent gap in movie scheduling.
On 4 Jan 2022, there was a bit of kerfluffle. Everyone checked the local movie listings and saw nothing for the 7th or the 8th. Some Q fans were eager to speculate that this might relate to a Q drop and thus give grounds for hope. (If this were true, one would expect Q fans to celebrate confirmation of their claims on the 7th or the 8th.)
Some people who claimed to be familiar with movies claimed that this happens every single week.

Well in my time zone it is the 7th already. I bet the movie listings have already been fixed and we should have enough evidence to issue a retraction.
And, if, against all odds, it turns out that something anomalous happens on the 7th or even the 8th, I will admit that my debunking has failed.
