I have a friend who was born & raised in Portland in an Evangelical family. She went to a public high school and said that a lot of her friends were into witchcraft but she avoided it because of her religion.
She moved away after high school but then went back there to live again after being away for about 10 years. She said she could not believe how much worse it had gotten in the 10 years that she was gone. That was in the early 2000s
