This past weekend Ron English attended the very last Babytattooville. The highlight of the trip was the Surrealist Ball hosted by Mark Ryden and Marion Peck. Attendees included Anthony Ausgang, Sas Christian, Olivia De Berardinis, Camille Rose Garcia, Bosko Hrnjak, KRK Ryden, Isabel Samaras and many more. The dress code for the evening was a bit unconventional but appropriate for the surrealist event. Guests were decked out in glamorous, surreal inspired, avant garde costumes. At the end of the evening all of the costumes were judged by the artists and the winner received an original painting by Mark Ryden. Thank you Bob Self, Mark Ryden and Marion Peck for a truly unforgettable evening.

Tintagel - Local Dignitaries, VIPs, ambassadorial and cultural attachés of Kazakhstan from the London Embassy met at Camelot Castle, England with the local Cornish villagers of Tintagel and many local friends of Camelot Castle who, alongside the artist Ted Stourton and Mr. and Mrs. John and Irina Mappin, gathered to wish the President of Kazakhstan (born on 6 July 1940) a very Happy Birthday.
They warmly celebrated the friendship that now exists and is growing stronger everyday between Britain and Kazakhstan.
"This event stands as a celebration of both the achievements and the noble values and friendship of our two cultures," said Mr. and Mrs. John and Irina Mappin, owners of Camelot Castle, who call both countries home.
On a glorious and beautiful summer’s evening on the north Cornwall coast, Camelot Castle played host to this spectacular event.

Rigina Hikmatulina’s involvement in Scientology became an international incident when her mother, Dina Tylevich, 44, took to social and mass media and proclaimed that the church had lured her 20-year-old daughter from Kazakhstan and was holding her prisoner at its Florida “Flag Land Base.” With the use of the hashtag #ВернитеРигину (BringRiginaBack) and other methods, Dina got plenty of attention in the Russian-language press. Even we took note, writing a story about it on June 20.
And now, Rigina has been brought back, and is staying with her mother in Almaty, Kazakhstan, arriving there just six days ago. But how did that happen? And is Rigina abandoning Scientology?
The answers really surprised us after we had lengthy conversations with Dina’s husband Danil and also heard from Dina herself.
Rigina may be home, but the battle for her soul is only beginning. Scientology, which has relied heavily on the cheap labor it gets in Russian-speaking countries, is getting a pounding over this story, and after talking to Danil, we’re pretty sure it’s only going to get rougher.
