Yep, that's why Cheryl Mills was able to trample all over HRC investigation. What's astonishing is that it is 100% against the rules. In most courtrooms, the opposing side would take the matter to the Judge to have the attorney disqualified.
In normal, law abiding courtrooms, the lawyer wouldn't be insulated. You cannot further a criminal conspiracy with your attorney and later claim privilege.
