if anyone else is dealing with the spam flooding your gmail that's sent to an aol email account (that you don't own) but is obviously forwarded to you account, a workaround is:
go to all settings, click on filters, click on create filter and in the "To" line, not the "from" line, because it's from a different bot address each time, just write "@aol.com" no quotes
click "create filter"
click "delete message" and "apply to similar messages"
