As of January 11, 2022 VigiAccess (http://www.vigiaccess.org/) — the WHO global database of reported potential drug side effects — records a total of 2,933,902 adverse drug reactions related to COVID-19 vaccines. Launched in 2015 as part of the World Health Organization (WHO (https://who-umc.org/about-the-who-programme-for-international-drug-monitoring/)) Programme for International Drug Monitoring, the database provides public access to information in VigiBase (https://who-umc.org/vigibase/vigibase-services/), the largest global database of its kind. The new figures indicate an increase of 749,990 adverse COVID-19 vaccine reactions since UncoverDC’s last report (https://uncoverdc.com/2021/10/05/the-who-maintains-worlds-largest-adverse-events-database/) on October 5, 2021.
Among the highly reported categories are: 1,219,123 “nervous system” adverse events, 812,767 “musculoskeletal and connective tissue disorders,” 168,786 “cardiac disorders,” 155,242 “vascular [blood clot] disorders,” and 390,344 “skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders.”
