Me and my wife and our 2 adult kids all had COVID the past couple of weeks. Every one of us started out with a scratchy throat. The best meds (for symptom relief) that I can recommend based on our experience are DayQuil and Pepcid.
I hope it stays gone anon. I’ve been sicker before in my life, and I never felt like I had one foot in the grave or anything, but the last 2 weeks were not pleasant. It seems like Omicron spread like wildfire where I live as all of the ER’s, urgent cares, and other clinics had hours long wait times. The good thing is we should have the elusive herd immunity once this wave is over.
Those do still exist but now there’s a man made intentionally released bio weapon too.
Or what if, when the vaccinated body is exposed to a virus or whatever, and the body’s natural immune response kicks into gear, the body’s natural immune response and the components of the vaccine don’t work well together and the person’s immune system goes into such a hyperactive state that it overwhelms said body causing a devastating reaction (e.g. heart attack, stroke, myocarditis, death).
