I am all for being discerning, but I am also convinced that a person can change. Because I have changed drastically from the person I was only 6 or so years ago.
We all can change and grow. We can of course waste our time and stagnate, too. It takes effort, willpower. And circumstances too can be the motivator.
There's always hope, for everyone.
