‘They’re Just Ignoring Everything and Living Their Lives’ – CNN Worried People Are Tuning Out Covid Fear Porn Being Churned Out by Fake News

CNN’s Oliver Darcy is worried that many people have moved on with their lives and no longer paying attention to the Covid fear porn being churned out by the fake news media.

CNN wants everyone living in fear, huddled at home…watching CNN.

“I think this is an issue because if people are tuning out what’s going on in cable news…the general population ..you know, they’re just, you know, ignoring everything and living their lives and we’re not really getting the information that they need to them,” Oliver Darcy said.

Oh no! How will this country survive without CNN??

Democrat Sen. Jeff Merkley Admits Pelosi’s Stock Trading Sways Her Legislative Judgment

Democrat Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) on Monday admitted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) husband’s stock trading activity sways her legislative judgment.

While American workers are not privy to much of the information that high-ranking members of Congress possess, Pelosi believes lawmakers and their spouses should be permitted to continue trading stocks with a small degree of transparency.

“Speaker Pelosi is an amazing leader, but on this issue I disagree with her completely,” Merkley said. “When members hold individual stocks it can’t help but influence their thinking on policies and tax laws that affect their value.”

Merkley’s comments came after Pelosi in December defended lawmakers and their spouses’ ability to stock trade due to erroneous “free-market” principles.

“We’re a free-market economy,” Pelosi defended the position. “They [lawmakers] should be able to participate in that.”

Pelosi, who is married to profuse trader Paul, is one of the most wealthy members of Congress, largely because of her husband’s stock trading activity and real estate holdings. Breitbart News reported in July that Pelosis raked in $4.8 million dollars on tech options.

AZ State Sen. Wendy Rogers Asked About Decertification Of The 2020 Election In New Session: “I Will Be Pushing For This As Soon As Possible”

The Gateway Pundit correspondent Jordan Conradson spoke to Trump-endorsed Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers about her plans to secure elections this session and her calls to decertify the fraudulent 2020 Election in Arizona.

Senator Rogers also told us that President Trump has an announcement to make at his rally in Florence.

Conradson: President Trump is coming to Arizona this week for a rally. What do you think’s on his mind?

Rogers: I’m really excited. I’ll get to be one of the warm-up speakers for President Trump in Florence, Arizona, because he endorsed me, and wow, what an honor. He says he has an announcement to make. I’m just excited that he’s here. He’s chosen Arizona to start his 2022 tour. We have a lot of supporters. It’s going to be a country thunder near Florence. We’re just really excited.

Conradson: Today is opening of the 2022 legislative session. Are you going to be calling for decertification?

Rogers: We will eventually, Yes. I will be pushing for this as soon as possible. As you know, I as an individual Senator called for decertification many months ago. And so, it’s absolutely important that we get to the bottom of the truth of 2020. We cannot move forward for 2022 without getting to the truth of 2020.

Conradson: What about Attorney General Brnovich? It seems he’s still slow-walking this investigation. Do you have anything to say to him?

Rogers: I think with the opening day here, more and more pressure will be invariably asserted on him. I have authored a number of bills. I just dropped another 20 or so today. I’ve already dropped 30. All of this is to say that we are going to shore up the mechanisms to ensure that we have a free and fair 2022 election.

Conradson: Can you tell us about the election integrity bills that you’re working on?

Rogers: I’m working on bills that will ensure that we have voter ID. I’m asking that we go to paper only. I’m asking that we go to one election day, that we do away with the machines, that we count at the precinct level. So many things need to be done that are absolutely called for by my constituents in northern Arizona, as well as the rest of the state

Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers was one of the first demand decertification of the fraudulent election. She has continued to echo these calls and to push for criminal action from the Arizona Attorney General’s office.

The Great Quarantine Will Sideline Millions of American Workers and Make Bidenflation Worse

Get ready for omiflation.

Our public health policy is geared around containing the spread of the virus and isolating both the infected and the exposed. As a result, ultra contagious omicron’s impact on the economy may be even greater than the deadlier Delta variant. And the biggest effect is going to be an exacerbation of our inflation crisis.

The path to inflation is quarantines and the labor supply. Millions of workers are likely to be sidelined because they are infected or quarantined due to close contact with someone who is infected. That will constrain production while doing little to consumption. It’s a textbook recipe for more inflation.

Why is Omicron likely be a big drag on the labor supply?

Public health recommendations and business policies require workers who test positive but have no symptoms to quarantine for five days. The CDC also recommends that anyone exposed to someone who has tested positive also quarantine for five days, unless they have had their second mRNA shot within the last six months (or the Johnson & Johnson shot within the last two months) or gotten the booster. While it is hard to track down vaccinations by vintages, only about 21 percent of Americans have received a booster. So each positive case among workers will cause a number of workers to be out for a week.

So how many workers could be forced to quarantine? Analysts at Bank of America recently worked out the math to show that if infections peak at two million per day and each positive case quarantines two other people, roughly 30 million could be quarantined per day. Now, many of those will be able to work from home, and some will not be in the workforce (children and retirees, for example). By the Bank of America analysts’ calculations, this works out to roughly 4.2 million in-person workers in quarantine absence on any given day. That’s nearly 2.5 percent of the U.S. labor force sidelined by infection or close contact quarantine. If the new case numbers or the close contact rate are higher, obviously the effect will be even larger.

That’s likely to pull down economic growth. Keep in mind that Gross Domestic Product measures economic output. So with that many workers unable to work, output falls. But since many of those workers remain on the payroll, demand should not be hit as hard (although it could shift as sidelined workers’ consumption patterns adjust to being at home rather than commuting). Fewer goods and services meeting the same level of demand is guaranteed to produce inflation. Heaping that inflationary pressure on an economy already suffering from rising prices and rising inflation expectations could set the stage for much more inflation than is currently built into most economic projections.

Note that the labor shortage will be almost invisible in the classical employment statistics. Quarantined workers still get counted as employed, and so they will not show up in either the weekly jobless numbers or the monthly unemployment figures. Evidence for this can be seen in the jobless claims figure released Thursday. Claims moved up just 7,000 to 207,000 despite the new case average topping 500,000 on the way to Monday’s one million new cases.

CDC director faces criticism from all sides over statement that 75% of COVID-19 deaths have 'at least four comorbidities'

U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky is being criticized from all sides over comments she made last week in an interview.

Appearing on ABC News to discuss Omicron variant death statistics, Walensky was asked about a new CDC study that found COVID-19 vaccines are highly effective at preventing hospitalization and death. The study looked at more than 1 million people who completed primary vaccination (two shots, no booster, or one Johnson & Johnson shot) between December 2020 and October 2021. Researchers found that "severe COVID-19-associated outcomes" occurred only in only 0.015% of vaccinated people. Deaths were rare, happening in only 0.0033% of cases.

"Severe COVID-19 outcomes were defined as hospitalization with a diagnosis of acute respiratory failure, need for noninvasive ventilation (NIV), admission to an intensive care unit (ICU) including all persons requiring invasive mechanical ventilation, or death (including discharge to hospice)," the study said. "Among 1,228,664 persons who completed primary vaccination during December 2020–October 2021, a total of 2,246 (18.0 per 10,000 vaccinated persons) developed COVID-19 and 189 (1.5 per 10,000) had a severe outcome, including 36 who died (0.3 deaths per 10,000)."

Colorado Rep. Perlmutter becomes 26th House Democrat to duck ‘22 reelection

Rep. Ed Perlmutter has joined the stampede of House Democrats who say they will not run for reelection later this year.

In a Monday statement, the 68-year-old Perlmutter (D-Colo.) announced his departure from Congress, saying it was time to “pass the torch to the next generation.”

“After much thought and consideration, I have decided not to run for reelection,” he wrote. “I have loved representing my friends, neighbors and fellow Coloradans in the Congress of the United States of America. I will miss meeting the voters of the new 7th District – it is truly the most beautiful district in America.”

Perlmutter’s district has become more competitive due to redistricting. However, the lawmaker said that the Democratic “bench in the 7th District is deep and fortunately we have a strong group of leaders who are ready and able to take up that torch.”

Perlmutter is the 26th House Democrat to say they will not seek another two-year term and the 18th to retire from Congress altogether. His retirement announcement followed that of Rep. Brenda Lawrence (D-Mich.) last week.

Lawrence, the only black member of Michigan’s congressional delegation, also saw a shift in her district as a result of redistricting. Reports indicated she was unhappy with the outcome, which saw her new district encompass more suburban areas and cut out downtown Detroit.

“I’ve had the good fortune of serving the people of Michigan, on the local and national levels,” Lawrence said in a video posted to Twitter. “Today, after reflecting on my journey – and oh my goodness, what a journey — and having conversations with my family, I am announcing that I will not be seeking re-election to Congress.”

“I am incredibly grateful for the people in Michigan’s 14th Congressional District, who placed their trust and vote in me — in me, just a little black girl from the east side of Detroit,” she added. “You made me your congresswoman.”

The departures are a sign of hope for Republicans, who only need to gain a net of six seats to take back the House majority. Most early polls indicate the GOP is favored to pick up the necessary wins.

In late November, the National Republican Congressional Committee put Perlmutter on its so-called “Exit List” of 40 House Democrats who the NRCC wanted to see unseated or walk away from Washington.

“Ed Perlmutter knows House Democrats won’t be in the majority after the midterm elections,” NRCC spokeswoman Courtney Parella said Sunday. “He made the smart decision to retire rather than lose reelection.”

Kamala Harris’s New Comms Chief Spread Election Legitimacy Conspiracies.

ice President Kamala Harris’s new communications director declared George W. Bush an “illegitimate” president, insisting that competing Democratic candidate Al Gore “didn’t lose” the 2000 election in a series of tweets.

Jamal Simmons – a longtime Democratic operative and political analyst – was tapped to serve under Harris following the departure of Ashley Etienne, who left the vice president’s office last month along with several other staffers. Simmons previously served as the Deputy Communications Director for Gore’s campaign.

Simmons declared that his former boss “didn’t lose” in a Twitter thread from 2012.

“I said losing tickets. Gore Lieberman didn’t lose. (but same point),” he wrote.

“I worked for Gore 2000 & believe W’s 1st term to have been illegitimate. Yet when in the room w/him I stood and gave ofc respect,” he tweeted in June 2012.
