Wow. Just saw the last half of Fareed Zakaria's "Fight to Save American Democracy" (CNN Special Report, S9 E5, First aired 1/9/22) on 1/10/22.
Direct visual comparisons between crowds cheering Hitler and crowns cheering POTUS Trump. Narration of the desire to suppression of socialism by both Hitler (!) and Trump and fear of globalism (in favor of anti-immigration) and state by state review of pro-Trump election integrity efforts since 2020 "Stop the Steal" efforts launched … all supposedly creating a "dangerous" anti-American "end of democracy" threat for 2024 and beyond.
Fareed looks stern and serious, par usual.
