NEW FACT: One $3million payment to Biden’s son from Ukraine to Latvia to Cyprus to US. When Prosecutor asked Cyprus for amount going to son, he was told US embassy (Obama’s) instructed them not to provide the amount. Prosecutor getting too close to son and Biden had him fired.

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced an award of more than $13 million to a whistleblower whose information and assistance prompted the opening of an investigation and significantly contributed to the success of an SEC enforcement action.
The whistleblower promptly alerted SEC staff to an ongoing fraud and provided extensive assistance to SEC staff by meeting in person and helping the staff understand the mechanics of the fraudulent scheme. The whistleblower’s information also helped the Commission obtain emergency relief to minimize investor losses.
"Today’s whistleblower provided significant information that alerted SEC staff to ongoing fraud, which had caused and was likely to continue to cause substantial injury to the financial interests of investors," said Creola Kelly, Chief of the SEC’s Office of the Whistleblower. "Whistleblowers who provide information swiftly can not only save SEC staff’s time and resources, but also help minimize potential investor losses."

The move into and out of stock options came as the markets were tanking due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
Clarida is the third senior Fed official to step down in the wake of reports about stock trades made just before the markets collapsed.
Other top Fed officials including Chair Jerome Powell, Dallas Fed President Robert Kaplan, and Boston Fed President Eric Rosengren also cashed out even though they had knowledge of the bank’s plan to boost financial markets during the pandemic.
Both Kaplan and Rosengren resigned after news of the transactions were reported by The Wall Street Journal.
Powell also sold up to $5 million worth of stock options just before the markets tanked in the fall of 2020.
Biden recently nominated Powell to serve a second term despite opposition from his own party, including progressive Senator Elizabeth Warren.
