Interesting speculation about the possible breakup of some states when the time comes. Depending on specifics, we could see instances of a state breaking into multiple states, or part of a state being assimilated by a neighboring state.

Maxwell et al won't do it. She is already deservedly screwed, and the main thing they are after now is to hide the shocking size of the ring, and who was/is in it, and the demonic excesses that were really going on. Little doubt da boyz are promising her the world if she will hold out in the slammer for awhile, and that she will be pardoned and released when they think they can get away with it.
