The brilliance of Rand Paul's commentary here is that he included reference to the failures of central planning in the economy as an analogue to the failures of central planning in health.

Ron Paul, Rand's father, was educated in Austrian economics, which is a challenging school of thought due to its presentation as assuming knowledge of philosophy on the part of the reader. One of the figureheads of that school is Mises.

Mises explained a philosophical movement that he dubbed 'The Revolt Against Reason'.

>The revolt against reason, the characteristic mental attitude of our age, was not caused by a lack of modesty, caution, and self-examination on the part of the philosophers. Neither was it due to failures in the evolution of modern natural science. The amazing achievements of technology and therapeutics speak a language which nobody can ignore. It is hopeless to attack modern science, whether from the angle of intuitionism and mysticism, or from any other point of view. The revolt against reason was directed against another target. It did not aim at the natural sciences, but at economics. The attack against the natural sciences was only the logically necessary outcome of the attack against economics. It was impermissible to dethrone reason in one field only and not to question it in other branches of knowledge also.

It was Economics that the demonic Irrationalists, Marxists, and Racists attacked. Everything rested on this science because it links humanity worldwide in a very direct way.

It was from the attacks on Economics that made it 'permissible' for the Marxists to attack Science. And attacked it they did. Soviet Union regime killed scientists who did science and promoted scientists who pushed 'approved' politics masquerading as science.

Kudos to Rand Pau for such an insightful analogue.

He has a great father who taught him well.

Fake news trying to get ahead of what's coming?

>War against disinformation

See this particular 'war on X' iteration is the last one.

For the more they fight disinformation, the more they fight their own selves.

We just continue on researching and posting dank memes and watch them all implode on their own recognizance.

You're fake, the 'dispute' is fake, it's controlled opposition, both sides accusing what the other side is doing.

All to deflect and distract.
