“Was Ray Epps A Fed?” – ‘I Cant Answer That’: FBI Asst. Director Refuses To Answer Any of Ted Cruz’s Questions About Jan 6 in Fiery Exchange on Capitol Hill

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) grilled FBI National Security Branch Executive Assistant Director Jill Sanborn over the law enforcement agency’s involvement on January 6th in a tense exchange during Tuesday’s Senate Hearings.

Cruz, who has been under fire from Conservatives as of late for referring to “terrorism” when talking about 1/6, asked the FBI director several straightforward questions like ‘how many FBI agents or informants actively participated in Jan 6th? And is notorious 1/6 catalyst ‘Ray Epps a fed?’

But Cruz was unable to get any real answers from Sanborn during her sworn testimony; the only thing she was able to respond with to the majority of his questions was ‘I can’t answer that.’

Sanborn did however admit to knowing who Ray Epps is, but acted as if she did not know anything about him before refusing to answer a direct question from Cruz on if he is a Federal agent.

Cruz ends his line of questioning by attempting to get a straight answer one last time with a very specific and pointed question.

“Ms. Sanburn, a lot of Americans are concerned that the Federal Government deliberately encouraged illegal and violent conduct on January 6th. My question to you – and this is not an ordinary law enforcement question, this is a question about public accountability – Did federal agents, or those in service of federal agents, actively encourage violent and criminal conduct on January 6th?

Sandborn defiantly responds, “not to my knowledge.”

If the FBI did not participate or encourage the eventual outcome of January 6th, they could easily say so. Refusing to answer the questions is all but direct confirmation of their involvement.

Biden Administration Donates More Than $300 Million to Afghanistan

The United States is donating approximately $308 million in humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and will also contribute additional COVID-19 vaccine doses, a White House spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday.

National Security Council (NSC) spokeswoman Emily Horne said in a government statement that the United States remains “the single largest donor of humanitarian aid in Afghanistan” and the latest donation brings American aid for the impoverished nation and Afghan refugees in the region to nearly $782 million since the chaotic ending of the 20-year war.

“The new humanitarian assistance by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will directly flow through independent humanitarian organizations and help provide lifesaving protection and shelter, essential health care, winterization assistance, emergency food aid, water, sanitation, and hygiene services in response to the growing humanitarian needs exacerbated by COVID-19 and healthcare shortages, drought, malnutrition, and the winter season,” Horne said.

Meanwhile, the country will also be supplied through global vaccine sharing program COVAX with one million COVID-19 vaccine doses, bringing the total of U.S. contributed vaccines to 4.3 million doses.

The confirmation on the latest U.S. donations come as the United Nations on Tuesday launched a multi-billion dollar funding appeal to avert a humanitarian and economic crisis in the country.

“Today we are launching an appeal for $4.4 billion for Afghanistan itself for 2022,” U.N. Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths said during a conference in Geneva, Switzerland, adding that the appeal is the largest ever in humanitarian assistance for a single country.

Already stressed by continuous drought and conflict, 22 million Afghanis inside the country and 5.7 million beyond its borders are in need of humanitarian assistance following the Taliban terrorist group’s takeover in August, according to the U.N. refugee agency.

Griffiths warned that if the international community doesn’t take immediate action in supporting the country, the agency will ask “for $10 billion” next year.

“This is a stop-gap, an absolutely essential stop-gap measure that we are putting in front of the international community today,” he said. “Without this being funded, there won’t be a future, we need this to be done, otherwise there will be outflow, there will be suffering.”

Nearly 80 percent of Afghanistan’s previous government’s budget came from the international community. That money, now cut off, financed hospitals, schools, factories, and government ministries.

International funding was suspended and billions of dollars of Afghanistan’s assets abroad, mostly in the United States, were frozen after the Taliban took control of the country.

'Fugazi': Joe Rogan Says 'A Lot Of F**kery' Is Going On At GETTR, He 'Wants To Get Off' The Platform

Comedian and popular podcast Joe Rogan slammed GETTR for using fake follower numbers and other “f**kery” during a recent podcast episode with Tim Dillon, during which Rogan also expressed a desire to get off the platform.

“You have like 9 million followers on GETTR,” Dillon said.

“Yeah, it’s not real though,” Rogan replied. “Because GETTR doesn’t even have 9 million people. There’s a lot of f**kery.”

Rogan continued, “So this is the f**kery with that: they take all my Twitter followers, so my Twitter followers is like 7.8 million, and then they port those over, so I started out with 7.8 million. So whatever I have now, if I have like, 8, really i have 200,000.”

“So GETTR is fugazi,as they say,” Dillon said.

“Fugazi,” Rogan agreed. “And everytime I post on Twitter, it posts automatically on GETTR. Yeah, it like, automatically does that. And I don’t know how to get off, like if I want to get off of GETTR. I don’t think I can.”

Free speech platform Gab jibed at GETTR by posting the video of Rogan’s remarks and stating, “Can’t help you with that one Joe, but I can help you get on Gab.”

GETTR recently faced scrutiny for its strange handling of follower accounts for new users.

The Stanford Internet Observatory and Cyber Policy Center notes that it was “launched by former Trump spokesman Jason Miller, with assistance and promotion by exiled Chinese businessman Miles Guo”. Stanford released its “first comprehensive analysis of the new platform” on August 12.

According to this analysis, the parties responsible for creating and promoting GETTR “are not transparent,” because, “While Miller has distanced Gettr from Miles Guo, the app appears to still be developed by a Guo-linked development team.” Additionally, “Gettr appears to have exaggerated its initial growth,” having claimed to reach 1 million users within its first month. In reality, Stanford asserts “that Gettr reached 1.5m users in August 2021, while Jason Miller claimed Gettr surpassed this number in mid-July.

Two high-profile Channel 7 newsreaders have been caught in a leaked off-air video trashing Novak Djokovic and his visa mess.

Channel 7 newsreaders Mike Amor and Rebecca Maddern have been caught out slamming Novak Djokovic in an off-air studio exchange that was leaked online.

Footage of the Melbourne-based Seven presenters talking about the tennis star’s fight to enter the country and compete in the Australian Open shows them blasting the world No. 1 as an “a***hole” and accusing him of faking his border entry forms.

“Whatever way you look at it, Novak Djokovic is a lying, sneaky, a***hole,” Maddern told her co-host. “It’s unfortunate that everybody else stuffed up around him.

“To go out when you know you’re Covid-positive — well, I don’t think he was even Covid-positive …”

Amor also called Djokovic an “ahole” and added: “You’ve got a bulls*t fing excuse and then he fell over his own f**ing lies, which is what happens right? That’s what’s happened.”

Maddern questioned whether Djokovic had lied about his recent travel movements on his Australian Travel Declaration form as Amor said “I think he’s going to get away with it”.

“I think most fair-minded people would say, ‘The bloke’s an ahole’. Did they do the right thing by him? I don’t know. They fed it up. That’s the problem, isn’t it,” he added.

Maddern said she didn’t think “anything was gained from putting him in immigration hotels”.

“The fact is life is never fair. Some people fly first class … it’s never fair,” she added.

Maddern joined Seven from Channel 9 recently to partner Amor as a newsreader — this is her second week on air — and said returning to the network she started her career at was a dream.

“I walked into Channel 7 as a 24-year-old cadet and now I return to read the weekend news so it is a really lovely feeling,” she said recently.

“It is a job of a lifetime; these opportunities don’t come up very often.

“You only have to look at the main anchors and how long they have been in those roles, so it is not lost on me how lucky I am.”

Maddern quit Channel 9 late last year after holding a number of high-profile roles on The Footy Show, Ninja Warrior and Weekend Today. She also anchored parts of the broadcaster’s Australian Open tennis coverage.

Australians are being warned to prepare for a possible milk shortage as supply chain issues continue to bite amid the Covid-19 outbreak across the country.

Despite being unaffected by the supply crisis so far, the milk industry says it has 'enormous concerns' about supply issues in the coming days.

It warns milk processing facilities could be forced to shutdown due to a shortage of workers, while a shortage of truck drivers could stop processed milk from being picked up.

'Farmers milk their cows seven days a week and they can’t store milk in a vat on farm if the tanker doesn’t come to pick it up,' said Australian Dairy Products Federation president Grant Crothers told the Sydney Morning Herald.

'Supply could deteriorate any time, it’s a factory-by-factory, shift-by-shift scenario.'
