This is what amazes me anon. Like people can't get out a fucking calculator? They can't compare "Covid" deaths to flu? I live in a country with very sketchy medical care, and I was special-ordering actual filtration masks (real ones) before the panic really got rolling back in 2020. But by March/April , I had already had a good idea of the real-world CFR, based solely on that early research we were conducting here, and the case study of the Diamond Princess cruise ship.
In case people forgot, that cruise ship had Covid sweep through while they were out at sea. They were not really prepared, made do with on-hand supplies and quarantine procedures. Everything about it was non-ideal, so it was a great case study. Total crew and passengers something like 2500 people, but age-biased toward the elderly. Only 707 got sick, and only 7 died. So 1% CFR on a population whose average age was about 60+, under conditions where they really were captive to each others' conditions.
After that, I stopped worrying completely, and I dont' know why people can't look around them and see what is obvious.
