Like you said, to try and make him look stupid. NPR doesn't have any ratings; they know this. For PDJT to have one of his PR folks to call them up and offer to do a spot, they jumped on it because they need the viewership, and it gives them the chance to make him look stupid. Bet that interview was their highest ratings spike in a while.
If you are watching Tucker on the regular, you knew this was coming. One of his segments, recently, was getting people to look at NPR for the absolute fucking morons they are. This wasn't about the interview with PDJT. What this was about is a coordinated effort to get the majority of Americans that are listening to Truth being spelled out on shows like Tucker to see the infiltration (bought and paid for by YOUR tax dollars, btw) and disinformation campaigns all over the place. Also, there's no such thing as bad press.
