Trying to figure out the chess-game that is currently going on in Italy.

Part of this psycho decree involves banning people from travelling, unless they have the "super Green Pass."

Messina is VERY strategic. It's on Sicily right near the toe of the boot of the Italian peninsula. So this Mayor is objecting to the limitation of travel between the peninsula and Sicily, travel which on a daily basis is pretty significant.

Fwiw there are NATO bases on Sicily, and there are US military in multiple Italian locations.

We're seeing travel limitations all over the world now, which I assume are Our Guys trying to prevent "Them" from fleeing (?). If that's the case in Italy … it means that deep-stater PM Draghi is doing what Our Guys would want, i.e. making it harder to travel. And the Mayor of Messina is objecting.

Fuck it, this chess game is complicated. But I just wanted to throw this out there
