Thinking it through is what got me there instead of just blindly accepting it without question which you seem to have done.

I know what it's supposed to represent…a situation where two or more people acknowledge that they have different opinions or convictions about something, and being ok with that.

I am not denying the event, I am saying I don't like the phrase used because it self-contradicts.

Like an art or movie critic uttering contradictory descriptions like "It's complex yet simple".

It's a lazy way of describing an event.

You misunderstood my post as suggesting the event described by those words somehow doesn't occur.

It's because the kinds of disputes and wars we're used to seeing are relatively 'shorter'.

THIS war is multi-generational.

First time taking down a 2,000 year old deeply entrenched death cult takes more time, more time than any of us are used to.
