GOP Senator Demands DoD Investigate Leaked DARPA Bombshell Over Covid-19 Origins

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) has requested any findings from a Department of Defense investigation into the origins of Covid-19, following the recent publication of a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) report obtained by Project Veritas.

According to the leaked report written by a Marine, EcoHealth Alliance sought a contract to use controversial gain-of-function genetic manipulation techniques to study bat coronaviruses. While the proposal was rejected by DARPA, it was subsequently picked up by Anthony Fauci's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, which funneled money to EcoHealth via a sub-grant.

Fauci has repeatedly claimed NIAID did not fund gain-of-function research into bat coronaviruses.

"It is apparent that Dr. Fauci has not been forthright with the American people regarding his involvement in funding dangerous research," Sen. Johnson told the Daily Caller.

"According to the Major’s disclosure, EcoHealth Alliance (EcoHealth), in conjunction with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), submitted a proposal in March 2018 to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) regarding SARS-CoVs. The proposal included a program, called DEFUSE, that sought to use a novel chimeric SARS-CoV spike protein to inoculate bats against SARS-CoVs," reads Johnson's letter.

"Although DARPA rejected the proposal, the disclosure alleges that EcoHealth ultimately carried out the DEFUSE proposal until April 2020 through the National Institutes of Health and National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The disclosure highlights several potential treatments, such as ivermectin, and specifically alleges that the EcoHealth DEFUSE proposal identified chloroquine phosphate (Hydroxychloriquine) and interferon as SARS-CoV inhibitors."

The leaked documents also suggest that Covid-19 was created at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Johnson asks the DoD to interview the Marine who reportedly authored the report, and undertake an investigation into its claims.

Michigan attorney general refers 2020 alternate electors to feds for possible prosecution

"Under state law, I think clearly you have forgery of a public record, which is a 14-year offense, and election law forgery, which is a five-year offense," AG Dana Nessel says.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said she referred a group of people who attempted to falsely certify Michigan’s 2020 Presidential electoral votes for Donald Trump to federal prosecutors.

On a Thursday’s MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show," Nessel said she referred the case to the U.S. attorney's office for the Western District of Michigan.

Nessel suggested forgery charges and said the GOP electors acted in a "coordinated effort” across battleground states.

"Under state law, I think clearly you have forgery of a public record, which is a 14-year offense, and election law forgery, which is a five-year offense," Nessel said.

Although President Joe Biden won Michigan by 154,000 votes, verified by various court rulings and a GOP investigation, a Dec. 14, 2020 memo obtained by the Detroit News says that Republican national committeewoman Kathy Berden sent the GOP electors certificate to the U.S. Senate, the U.S. archivist, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson's office and Robert Jonker, the chief judge of U.S. District Court for Michigan's Western District.

Michigan's 16 presidential electors met inside the Capitol to officially certify a Biden win while Michigan State Police blocked the fake group from entering.

The ongoing investigation could involve up to 16 Republicans, including GOP Co-Chair Meshawn Maddock and her husband Rep. Matt Maddock, R-Milford, who falsely signed they were the "duly elected and qualified electors" who "convened and organized" in the state Capitol.

"Sending more than one slate of electors is not unheard of," The News reported Maddock said on Facebook at the time. "It’s our duty to the people of Michigan and to the U.S. Constitution to send another slate of electors if the election is in controversy or dispute — and clearly it is."

1000 NSW Health workers sacked or quit after refusing to be vaccinated

Almost 1000 NSW Health workers have resigned or been sacked after refusing to be vaccinated against COVID-19, placing further pressure on the hospital system that has seen coronavirus patient admissions almost triple within a fortnight.

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet said on Friday that, while he “expected a difficult few weeks ahead” for the health system, hospital admissions and intensive care patient numbers were tracking well below worst case projections released last week.

About 2500 people with COVID-19 were in hospital on Friday, up from 900 early this month, as the NSW government announced tens of thousands of essential workers would be exempt from the state’s strict close-contact rules as the state moves to combat the fallout from the Omicron wave.

“The tracking … is very reassuring and encouraging, given where we sit today in the pandemic,” Mr Perrottet said.

As hospitals and general practices are slammed with surging cases, and almost 6000 healthcare workers are isolated across NSW due to COVID-19 exposure, the state’s health department on Friday confirmed to the Herald that 995 of its 170,000-strong workforce had resigned or been stood down after refusing the vaccine.

A NSW Health spokesman said 325 people had resigned, while a further 670 had “ceased employment” with the department.

Senate Democrats Use the Jim Crow Filibuster to Protect the Kremlin

Speaking at the funeral of Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) in May, 2020, former President Barack Obama called for the elimination of the Senate filibuster, which he maligned as “another Jim Crow relic.” During his four years in the Senate, Obama himself used that Jim Crow relic on two dozen occasions to block the Republican majority from bringing various bills to a floor vote.

In 2005, Obama's second year in the Senate, Republicans — furious that Senate Democrats were using the filibuster to block President Bush's judicial appointments — proposed the "nuclear option” to eliminate the 60-vote requirement for judicial appointments. In response, the junior Senator from Illinois took to the floor of the Senate and delivered one of his trademarked impassioned speeches in defense of this Jim Crow relic, railing against the unfairness of “one party, be it Republican or Democrat … chang[ing] the rules in the middle of the game so they can make all the decisions while the other party is told to sit down and keep quiet.” He also heralded the importance of the 6o-vote requirement in the Senate for protecting the rights of the minority party: “If the right of free and open debate is taken away from the minority party and the millions of Americans who ask us to be their voice, I fear the partisan atmosphere in Washington will be poisoned to the point where no one will be able to agree on anything.”

Filibuster hypocrisy of this sort is the norm in Washington. In 2017, when Senate Democrats were in the minority under President Trump, 32 of them signed a letter urging that the filibuster be maintained on the ground that it is necessary to safeguard “the existing rights and prerogatives of Senators to engage in full, robust, and extended debate as we consider legislation before this body in the future." Fast forward four years, when the Democrats have a 50-50 majority in the Senate with the tie-breaking vote of the Vice President, and now that very same filibuster has been transformed by them from a sacred guardian of minoritarian rights into the tell-tale sign of white nationalism and fascist contempt for democratic values.

Ron DeSantis Stands Against CMS Mandate: ‘What They’re Trying to Do Is Insane’

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said on Thursday that the Biden administration’s Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) vaccine mandate is utterly “insane,” reiterating that it defies logic by failing to recognize the reality of natural immunity.

“If you believe that the Constitution — like the founding fathers believed — that the Constitution is one of limited and enumerated powers, you cannot authorize the federal government acting … like a state police power,” he said, explaining that the vaccine mandates are designed to end run around the Constitutional structure.

“So, we need the Supreme Court to come through and rule properly on that, and it’s not just the OSHA mandate, and you will have problems in other states that didn’t provide protections like Florida did,” he said prior to the ruling.

“The medical mandate for the nurses and the doctors … what they’re trying to do is absolutely insane,” he continued, explaining that Florida has provided protections for healthcare workers.

“So, nurses were rehired. All these people, many of them have natural immunity … but there’s a crunch on the staffing because you have obviously a lot more COVID nationwide and then you have staff that get out sick with it,” he continued, further explaining the absurdity of the rule.

“In other states, they have fired nurses for not having vaxed even though most of them have immunity. So, they fire them but now, they’re short-handed. So what are they doing? They are bringing back on the job vaccinated nurses who are currently COVID-positive,” he said.

“So, if you’re unvaccinated, naturally immune, and uninfected, you’re — they fire you, but if you’re COVID-positive and vaxed, which we know most of the people that are COVID-positive now are vaxed, they are going back on the job,” he marveled.

DeSantis said the rule shows that the CMS mandate is “absolutely insane, especially given the ineffectiveness, you know, of these shots to actually stop transmission between individuals.”

“And so, I’m hoping that they will get real on this,” he added.

While the Supreme Court struck down the OSHA mandate 6-3, affecting over 84 million workers, it upheld the CMS mandate 5-4, though they did acknowledge that the CMS mandate exempts healthcare employees who object to the vaccine for religious or medical reasons.

The applications are NFIB v. OSHA, No. 21A244 at the Supreme Court of the United States, and Biden v. Missouri, No. 21A240 at the Supreme Court of the United States.

Pennsylvania Supreme Court Steps In and Delays Fulton County, Pennsylvania 2020 Election Investigation

The Democrat Pennsylvania Secretary of State waited until the last minute to ask the state’s Supreme Court to step in and stop the election review of the 2020 results in Fulton, County. Today they did.

The Penn-Star Capital reports:

A third-party inspection of Fulton County voting machines, scheduled for Friday as part of the Senate’s taxpayer-funded election investigation, was derailed — following a last-minute Pennsylvania Supreme Court order granting a request from the Wolf administration challenging the review.

Envoy Sage, the contractor hired by the Senate Intergovernmental Operations Committee to conduct the investigation, was poised to inspect the county’s machines Friday afternoon when the court issued a stay, putting the process on hold until the Supreme Court reaches a final decision.

The order came after a state judge rejected attempts by Dominion Voting Machines, Gov. Tom Wolf, a Democrat, and state elections officials to block the probe unless an accredited inspector carried it out. The Wolf administration also wants Fulton County and Envoy Sage to agree to a step-by-step protocol and disclose who will conduct the review.

Legislative Democrats and Attorney General Josh Shapiro have also expressed security concerns with Envoy Sage in court challenges to a subpoena issued as part of the Senate investigation that asks for voters’ driver’s license numbers and partial Social Security numbers.

“Dominion welcomes such reviews by accredited elections entities,” the company said in a statement to the Capital-Star. “We have made this expressly clear to county officials many times, including in legal filings. Unfortunately, this inspection does not comply with existing federal or state requirements.”

Dominion compared the review in Pennsylvania to the controversial, GOP-backed election probe carried out by a firm with no experience auditing elections in Maricopa County, Ariz., last year.

The contractor selected to “assess” Dominion machines “has never gone through any Voting System Test Lab accreditation process to ensure its qualifications and credibility,” Dominion said in a statement.

Of course, Dominion doesn’t want any professionals near their machines. They use the excuse that they want certain professionals to look into their machines, but to date, the inspections by the Dominion preferred have found nothing because their investigations and audits are worthless.

We reported a week ago how the Dominion machines shouldn’t have been used in the Pennsylvania election in 2020.

This action by Pennsylvania’s Secretary of State and Dominion is not surprising. The court in PA is liberal. So the court’s actions aren’t surprising either. We’ll see what comes next. Expect the delays to continue.
