many things to consider regarding the Pope, from day 1.
Dear Medical Professionals,
Youâve changed. I have bronchitis, and I know I have bronchitis because thatâs what youâve told me each time Iâve experienced these symptoms and each time youâve prescribed a Z-pack, maybe steroids (if I waited too long to see you) and sent me on my merry way. The prescriptions took care of my congestion and ear ache. It has occurred to me over the last 25 years of this annual event, that maybe you should take a swab, do a culture, verify the diagnosis with a lab. But, it worked, you got results without extra lab fees. No longer.
Today, your day is overrun with COVID testing and I know why. In addition to employers insisting on it, you do too! In a virtual consultation, the first thing you said is that you wouldnât prescribe anything until a COVID test was done because congestion is a COVID symptom. Are there no other ailments in the world now? Why is lab work all of a sudden required and are you testing for bronchitis also? Because âa COVID testâ doesnât sound like youâre testing for bronchitis. I guess I always knew you played the odds when you diagnose, but you used to play the odds based on MY history. Not the worldâs.
When hospitals were shut down for any elective work, I wondered how they were going to survive.
Iâm sorry you are experiencing the dismantling of your system (which is similar to what has been happening to the oil/gas industry, for example). But by insisting everything is COVID, you have made yourselves irrelevant and useless.
Sincerely
