Use teabags on the bruises, sore spots. Regular black tea is fine or green tea is ok too. Dampen teabag with water and place on top of bruised area. Use an old towel or rag to catch drips and wear old clothes or pj’s you won’t mind if they end up stained.
Squeeze out excess water and leave them on the bruises for 10-20 minutes at a time. Reduces healing time and tenderness from my own experience.
