For my part, knowing privately that something that I worked on got shared is a good enough reward. I don't think that makes me unique. Changing the compression algorithm would change the hash, I think, even though the uncompressed image would be exactly the same. The file format is png so it is lossless compression but there is more than one way to implement the compression.
