Anons, I am not a programmer nor do I possess knowledge of AI beyond a surface level. With the advent of spell/grammar checkers, most errors when typing are highlighted so it can be corrected on the fly. Their use doesn't even add an amount of time that makes their use inconvenient.

If I were getting paid, the last thing I would be doing would be to submit errors that would tip anons off that English was not my primary language.

To my question. Anons all know and use many terms, misspelled words and inside joke phrases that, to the new or uninformed, would have no way of knowing the meaning without a considerable history of posting. Does Artificial Intelligence pick up those terms and try to adapt it's learning by using, or even creating, these terms in an effort to blend in?

I realize that morans are plentiful, but this question has often come to my mind as I read comments anywhere on the internet. Does AI get confused by the accidental, or purposeful errors present in online communications?

I have often wondered if the intentional misuse of language, by enough people, could actually render AI ineffective or damage it in a way that it can't be distinguished from a natural person. If it learns covertly by joining conversations, it has no way of correctness. In fact, it may view all communications as correct due to the billions and billions of iterations it takes to learn.

Wow. I didn't even think of that. How could a program ever comprehend the context of benign/common word usage when the 'true' meaning lay in the image coupled with the words.

So, are you saying that memes are not just cool, inside baseball comments on topics, but an intentional effort to defeat AI learning and censoring comms?>>>15398189

I've tried my hand at it, but, it is definitely an art form that can't be faked. The high IQ creativity of some memes truly astounds me sometimes. You can definitely see the difference between the 'pros' and the hacks. There are some impressive minds out there that can distill the world with some amazing results.

Breads like this, and interactions like this, is the only way I have figured out how to see if today is the day to ask an honest question. Anons never let me down. Others who say this place sucks or all the 'real' anons went here or there, just don't get that this place is a resource, not a complaint/suggestion box. Comfy as fuck because of you guys.
