Contributing to this board is work. It takes time, effort and has a psychological toll. Sustained contribution is a sacrifice, after time the allure of recognition might motivate one to believe they are above mere anon and to shake lose the label everyone has. Creating a persona to rise above the rank of anon demonstrates flawed logic and dooms any continuing efforts carried out as the persona, as well as any recognition that goes with it, to fail. Antagonizing anons using a persona that you cannot maintain ownership of guarantees that those very anons will assume this person to destroy it. Anime learnt this, now another is learning it again.
