Add to this, spouse anon is an ER Nurse and they just changed 3 COVID protocols:
1). 5 day quarantine if COVID positive instead of 10 day quarantine. Hospitals, being short staffed as is, asking workers to come to work even if COVID positiveand still symptomatic.
2). Weekly testing suspended for 3 months. (They don’t want positive tests b/c they don’t want staff to miss work for quarantine)
3). Now rooms can be immediately re-occupied after COVID patient is discharged or moved elsewhere. The protocol had been to clean the room and leave empty for 70 minutes before bringing in another patient.
