No, it's about the PNG content.

But when you on the other hand download these 2 PNGs, posted at different times, you will get 2 files that are not identical, which is what my posts are about.

 

Upload these 2 to 8kun, and you will get 2 different hashes despite the pic looking the same. The files themselves are simply not identical.

Oh wait, I even wonder what happens in this case and which content will survive, because you will indeed download the same file.

 

It will either contain the latest upload time stamp, or the first one.

 

And so the hash when you re-upload it will be different, but should be the same.

Redownload them and re-post them.

Hash will then change.

 

It's all about the file data that you upload.

When you download PNGs from 8kun, you don't get the same file back that you uploaded.

depends if it was already a download from 8kun.

If it was, you would have to figure out the correct file stamp to get the same hash.

I removed that part yesterday from AMERICA.png and didn't get the correct Q-hash.

 

And also depends if 8kun strips out other data from pngs or not, I don't know that.
