Prominent Canadian psychologist and author Dr. Jordan B. Peterson has released a video demanding various Conservative politicians stop supporting COVID-19 restrictions.

“It’s your moment,” said Peterson in a YouTube video on Monday. “You’ve got a huge number of Canadians occupying Ottawa expressing their dismay with the suspension of our Charter rights in the face of this so-called emergency.”

Peterson said his message was being directed to Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Conservative leader Erin O’Toole. Continue…

Liberals re-introduce controversial internet regulation bill

The Liberal government is once again attempting to ram through legislation to regulate the internet after Bill C-10 failed to make it through the Senate last year.

C-10’s latest iteration – titled An Act to amend the Broadcasting Act and to make related and consequential amendments to other Acts – was introduced to the House of Commons on Tuesday by Liberal Minister of Canadian Heritage Pablo Rodriguez.

Reports say the Liberals intend to rush forward the legislation through Parliament with as little obstruction from the Conservative opposition as possible, with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau having approached the Bloc Quebecois and the NDP for help earlier this year.

44 SWAT team vehicles and an RCMP helicopter dispatched against the trucker convoy in Alberta.

Rebel News has crowdfunded a lawyer to help the truckers and de-escalate the situation.

According to Chad Williamson, who is now consulting the truckers, says RCMP is no longer negotiating.

Chad details the current situation and what the police have told the truckers. He says police have indicated that they will seize equipment and that they will re-open the highway.

Despite the police blockade and threats, the truckers have maintained their front. Some even chant as they await the RCMP to make their move.

So far no charges have been laid and the RCMP has temporarily retreated.

The truckers at the border are issuing a call to the RCMP to come back to the negotiating table. Chad Williamson, the lawyer we’re crowdfunding, makes a good point: moving hundreds of big rigs in the middle of the prairie winter would be quite a feat.

Recently, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed that those who oppose measures such as vaccine passports were merely a fringe minority of society.

I was very surprised when I went to Ottawa this past weekend to see that thousands upon thousands of people seemed to be there to support the truckers' convoy for freedom.

On site, I saw people of all ages and nationalities. From what I could see, and from the testimonies I could gather, everyone was gathered in love and harmony.

Is the media truly trustworthy when they demonize and minimize those who are against the government's excessive measures, or should we rather trust the opinion of the people on the ground?
