A minor anecdote:

I received a call back from someone I never met in a business-related matter. We got to talking and an occasional word here or there was suddenly a trigger to take the dialog somewhere else. I would describe the person as an average, mild republican/conservative.

As one sentence led to the next, we were suddenly an hour into a call discussing everything from Trump to the Great Reset to Fauci to Ivermectin. She had a concept of some things, like Fauci being behind the bioweapon but without the tie to EcoHealth and other little details like that. We talked about CRT, transgenderism, home-schooling, and countless other topics.

When we ended the call, I thought to myself, damn, the average American is in fact awake.
