Obama Admin Attorneys Team with Seth Rich’s Brother – Sue Private Eye Team Investigating Seth Rich

A team of private eyes investigating the death of Seth Rich are facing two major lawsuits prosecuted by high-powered Democratic establishment attorneys for uncovering evidence that insinuates the slain DNC staffer’s murder was politically motivated.

Aaron Rich, the brother of Seth Rich, filed a lawsuit in April in US District Court in the District of Columbia, against America First Media accusing conservative activist Matt Couch and other individuals and media organizations for peddling “false and unfounded claims” about him and acting “with reckless disregard for the truth.”

The lawyer representing Aaron Rich, Michael J. Gottlieb, recently concluded four years of service with the Obama Administration.

He served as Special Assistant to the President and Associate White House Counsel from 2009- 2010, where he focused on national security law and judicial nominations.

A second attorney prosecuting Aaron Rich’s case is David Boies, chairman of the law firm Boies, Schiller & Flexner. Boies has been involved in various high-profile cases in the United States, including United States v. Microsoft Corp., Bush v. Gore and the defense of Harvey Weinstein against sexual abuse allegations.

Ex-Aides Say Congressman Made Them His Servants.

Virginia Rep. Tom Garrett and his wife turned the congressman’s staff into personal servants, multiple former employees to the freshman Republican told POLITICO — assigning them tasks from grocery shopping to fetching the congressman’s clothes to caring for their pet dog, all during work hours.

POLITICO has spoken with four former staffers who detailed a deeply dysfunctional office in which the congressman and his wife, Flanna, often demanded that staff run personal errands outside their typical congressional duties. The couple called on staff to pick up groceries, chauffeur Garrett’s daughters to and from his Virginia district, and fetch clothes that the congressman forgot at his Washington apartment. They were even expected to watch and clean up after Sophie, their Jack Russell-Pomeranian mix, the aides said.

The staffers said they feared that if they refused Garrett‘s or his wife’s orders — both were known for explosive tempers — they would struggle to advance in their careers. It wasn't just full-time staff: many of the allegedly inappropriate requests were made of interns, the former aides said.

“I didn’t know who I was working for: Was I working for him? Was I working for her?” said one of those staffers who, like others interviewed for this story, asked not to be named for fear of retribution. “We became their gofers.”…

POTUS Moves Forward On Defunding Planned Parenthood.

President Trump and his administration are moving forward with cutting off taxpayer funds to Planned Parenthood, which performs hundreds of thousands of abortions each year.

This week, the Department of Health and Human Services issued a new regulation that will cut off $50 million in taxpayer money to the organization — although Planned Parenthood will still haul in nearly half a billion dollars.

The regulation actually clarifies a rule long in place.

Manafort's Trial In Virginia Federal Court Moved Back Two Weeks

Separate trial in D.C. federal district court is set for September.

A federal judge in Virginia on Friday afternoon delayed the trial of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, moving it from July 10 to July 24.

In an order filed with the court, U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III cited a family member’s medical procedure as the reason for the change. Prosecutors and defense counsel will still weigh in on the new trial date.

“Owing to a family member’s medical procedure, the Court cannot begin the jury trial on July 10, 2018 as currently scheduled,” Judge Ellis wrote. “It is thus necessary to reset the trial.”
