Can I vent? It'll be short, I promise. Have been on the boards since mid-2016, am a singer. Went to an audition today and had a great time. Halfway through, one of the musicians asked if I was okay with a left-leaning song… which started a massive barrage of criticisms of POTUS. I said "let's hear the song." Came back home and looked up lyrics and it's literally just MSM propaganda– Nazis, Russia, Putin, KKK, and on and on.

I'm so tired of living on a different planet from otherwise nice and fun folks. So tired of it. I'm happy to work with anyone, and believe in freedom of expression, but I keep my politics quiet irl. It kills me that the sleeping idiots are so ready to scream out their lies to seek attention. Music has always been political but I don't recall such a tsunami of bullshit in past criticisms of political figures.
