I remember when I was little, and we just moved into a new house & were meeting the neighbors. The one neighbor was named Jerry. I don't know why I said it, but just reply back to him, "Jerry the Fairy!" I ONLY said it because it rhymed!! I had NO idea that Fairy meant anything other than a magical creature.

That was one of the many times I've said something that made adults embarrassed/uncomfortable, & I'd get in trouble for it, but no one would explain to me what I said or did wrong.

I just liked rhyming names man.
