No. 17 hasn't been too kind to the Patriots who've donned the number throughout the Brady-Belichick dynasty.
For a franchise that has been extremely successful and have won at a clip pretty much unheard of in NFL circles, this cursed number is one of the dark and dreary notes to their epic run, however small it may be. Not only have players who've worn No. 17 on the Patriots never panned out, most were straight up busts and flat out bad.
The curse was originally brought to light following the drafting of Chad Jackson in 2006 and has claimed multiple victims along the way with the crowning jewel being former second round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft Aaron Dobson.
