National Archives Gives Trump White House Records to Jan. 6 Committee

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has handed records from the Trump administration’s time in office to the House of Representatives panel investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol.

The archives “provided the Select Committee with all the records at issue in the litigation,” a NARA spokesperson told news outlets on Friday.

A spokesperson for the panel didn’t respond to a request for comment.

The first documents reached the panel the same day the Supreme Court rejected former President Donald Trump’s attempt to block the National Archives from giving the committee the records.

“Our work goes forward to uncover all the facts about the violence of January 6th and its causes. We will not be deterred in our effort to get answers, make legislative recommendations to strengthen our democracy, and help ensure nothing like that day ever happens again,” the panel said in a recent statement.

Justices upheld lower court rulings that found Trump and his lawyers had “provided no basis” for overriding the judgment of President Joe Biden, who waived executive privilege for the records the Democrat-dominated panel sought.

Ordinarily, the records would be kept confidential for years after a president’s departure from office “in order to encourage full and frank advice to current and future Presidents,” lawyers representing NARA said in a previous filing.

Because of Biden’s action, the archives had urged the court not to block the transfer of the files to the panel, which is investigating the “facts, circumstances, and causes” of the Capitol breach.

The panel’s request to NARA asked for records related to the events and aftermath of Jan. 6, strategies by the White House to impede the counting of electoral votes, information on planning for rallies before and on Jan. 6, information that Trump received before and after the breach concerning the outcome of the 2020 election, and options considered concerning the certification of the electoral vote and the transfer of power, which ultimately took place on Jan. 20.

An Australian man who says he was forced to hand over his phone to Border Force officers at the airport after returning to Sydney has labelled the experience as “traumatic”.

James and Mandy had returned to Sydney airport from a holiday in Fiji when James (who does not want to use his surname) says they were intercepted by a Border Force officer who asked the pair - who are Australian citizens - to step aside.

They were then taken to a separate room where they were required to surrender their mobile phones and passwords.

James says the officers informed them it was a random data security search and the pair were required to hand over their mobile devices or face the prospect of being arrested.

An Australian Border Force (ABF) spokesperson told 7NEWS.com.au that officers have the power to examine all goods at the border, including electronic documents, photos on mobile phones and other personal electronic devices.

Barrister and member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance Greg Barns says the current laws meant Australians were not well protected when returning home.

“The issue is because we don’t have proper privacy protections in Australia, we are not well protected and this can lead to an abuse of power by ABF officers,” he said.

Inside Australia’s borders, however, state and federal police are generally required to obtain a warrant to compel you to grant access to a device.

“In respect there are more limitations for them, but in a lot of cases … they would need to have a warrant,” Mr Barns said.

James said his and Mandy’s phones were taken to a another room to be examined.

Massive California Wildfire Triggers Evacuations, Closes Highway

A 1,500-acre fire near the coastal community of Big Sur, California has triggered evacuations and the closure of the section of a major highway, state and local officials said on Saturday.

The Colorado Fire, which has been active since Friday, was 5 percent contained, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) said.

About 430,000 people live in the area where the fire is blazing in Monterey County. It was not immediately clear how many people lived in the evacuation area.

The American Red Cross opened a shelter in a local school late on Friday, county officials said.

California has long had an active wildfire season, but in recent years it has grown longer and more punishing.

Last year, the wildfire season started unusually early due to an ongoing drought and low reservoir levels, Cal Fire said. In January 2021 alone, the state battled 297 fires on 1,171 acres, the office said.

The Colorado Fire is the only fire listed on Cal Fire’s incident list so far in 2022.

This year, California is also grappling with the Santa Ana winds. A high wind warning was in effect for the area, with possible gusts of up to 70 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.

Arizona State University President Michael Crow Surrenders To Cancel Culture – Cancels Conservative Event Featuring Congressman Andy Biggs

Woke Arizona State University President Michael Crow decided to cancel a conservative group’s event featuring Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs and former Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz.

Arizona State University (ASU) decided to cancel a prominent conservative program’s first annual fundraiser scheduled for next month, and there are conflicting explanations behind their decision. The event was arranged to honor prominent community leaders Dan and Carleen Brophy; 100 percent of the event proceeds were to go to the program.

Three different reasons for the event’s cancellation were given to different parties involved in the event. The first two related to technicalities: the uptick in COVID-19 cases, and one unnamed faculty member’s failure to follow ASU rules. The third had to do with a more contentious topic: the featured speakers.

Some reported that they were informed that the event was canceled due to controversy over the choice of guest speakers: Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ-05) and former Utah congressman and Fox News contributor Jason Chaffetz.

The same university that allows radical leftists to discriminate against others and display “Death to America” signs won’t allow Republican Congressmen to speak on campus.

The Arizona Free Enterprise Club released a statement crediting cancel culture and ASU President Michael Crow for their event’s cancellation.

“It is outrageous that Michael Crow and ASU would cancel an ASU Foundation Fundraiser because they oppose the views and philosophy of the featured speakers attending the event. It is becoming clear that woke cancel culture has taken over every office at the University,” said Mussi. “ASU doesn’t have a problem with liberal activists and public officials appearing at the school for various events. It is well known that Democrat politicians, including US Senator Kyrsten Sinema, have in the past or currently work for the University at taxpayer expense. It only becomes a problem when the speaker is a conservative. If Michael Crow is going to surrender to the ‘cancel culture’ mob, then he is no longer fit to be ASU President and should resign.”

ASU only has one authorized ideology, which is leftism.

Peter Schweizer’s ‘Red-Handed’ Exposes Communist China’s Silicon Valley Sympathizers

The New York Post recently published an exclusive excerpt of Peter Schweizer’s new book Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, which outlines how American elites — including the Silicon Valley Masters of the Universe — purposefully aid the communist regime of China.

In his excerpt for the New York Post, Schweizer, who is a Breitbart News senior contributor, the president of the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI), and the best-selling author of Clinton Cash and Profiles in Corruption, focuses on how money-grabbing Big Tech firms have placed the privacy of their users and U.S. national security at risk in an attempt to appease China.

The New York Post excerpt highlights some of the most egregious examples of U.S. tech giants colluding with China from Red-Handed, including Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg asking Chinese dictator Xi Jinping to name Zuckerberg’s child. The excerpt reads:

In 2015, the Obama Administration held an official State Dinner at the White House for China’s Xi. The East Room was decorated in peach and pink roses. The crowd included two hundred elite guests from the world of government and business. Among them was Mark Zuckerberg, the young-looking cofounder of Facebook, and his wife, Priscilla, who was seven months pregnant. When Zuckerberg finally got his chance to see the guest of honor face-to-face, he made an unusual request: would the communist dictator give his child his Chinese name?

Xi, understandably surprised by the request, declined, saying it was “too great a responsibility.”

Even more worrying is Google’s close relationship with China. Google opened an AI research center in China in 2017 which included “a small group of researchers supported by several hundred China-based engineers.” The same year, China announced its “artificial intelligence development plan” in which the company outlined how it would use AI to aid in the “great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.” The Red-Handed excerpt reads:

Google’s cooperation with China on AI research occurred the same year that the Chinese Communist Party and government laid out its “artificial intelligence development plan.” A report issued by the Chinese government explains that “AI has become a new focus of international competition,” mastering that technology enhances “comprehensive national power,” and that it would lead to the “great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.”

Beijing has declared that passing the United States in artificial intelligence is a “national priority.”

“The work that Google is doing in China is indirectly benefitting the Chinese military,” Marine General James Dunford, then chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told a U.S. Senate committee. Then he corrected himself. “Frankly, ‘indirect’ may not be a full characterization of the way it really is, it is more of a direct benefit to the Chinese military.”

Red-Handed also explains Elon Musk’s torrid love affair with the country’s communist dictatorship. After denying he would open Tesla factories in China, Musk dramatically changed his tune.

According to Red-Handed:

Then Beijing rolled out the red carpet: Chinese government–backed banks coughed up $1.6 billion in subsidized loans. And the regulatory red tape to build in China was eliminated by government authorities. “What surprised me is how little time it took for the regulatory process to get approved by the Chinese government,” explained Ivan Su, an analyst at Morningstar Inc. The enormous plant was built in less than a year.

Musk arrived in the country for the groundbreaking ceremony and met with top-ranking officials. Two days later, he was meeting with Vice Premier Li Keqiang in the private compound reserved for high- ranking visitors. “I love China very much and I am willing to come here more,” Musk reportedly told Li. The vice premier offered to make him a permanent resident in the country.

PA Secretary of State and Dominion Bring in Election ‘Expert’ and Profiteer Ryan Macias in PA Supreme Court Filing But Macias Likely Has Little Knowledge of Work Scheduled to Take Place

The Democrats and Dominion brought into the election case in Pennsylvania Ryan Macias to provide an affidavit on something he most likely knows nothing about. Yet he appears to be their top ‘expert’ in their case.

We’ve reported on Ryan Macias before. He is part of the clandestine “National Task Force on Election Crisis” along with the likes of James Baker, Comey’s top attorney at the FBI. Others involved in election activity like Jennifer Morrell from the Elections Group is also part of that group.

Macias was involved with the Elections Group in Georgia and then was brought into the election audit in Arizona in 2021. In Arizona Macias was first inserted as a member of the media to observe the actions taken in the center where the audit was taking place.

The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson asked Macias who he was working for and why he claimed to be a reporter in Arizona as noted in the video below. Macias denied he worked for a media outlet.

Now the Democrats and their Deep State have brought Macias into the election machine investigation in Pennsylvania. On Wednesday the corrupt Pennsylvania Secretary of State (SoS) and Dominion Voting Machines (Dominion) filed a reply to the County’s filing on Monday to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court related to the Democrats’ efforts to stop the investigation in Fulton County, Pennsylvania.

In a nearly 700-page filing [below] the PA SoS and Dominion shared that they believe only Ryan Macias should be allowed to touch the election machines in Fulton County in the investigation requested by the county. Macias claims in an affidavit he provides in the filing that the election machines will be damaged during the investigation [false] and the experts weren’t experienced enough to perform the audit [also false]. However, Macias doesn’t have the skill set to make these claims.

Modern technology allows investigators to copy the information on a device or machine without damaging the machine in any way. In addition, the team brought in to perform the investigation of the Dominion voting machines are some of the most experienced and certified cyber investigators in the country. These individuals can investigate these machines and there will be no damage whatsoever to the machines.
