Lefties out to get Justice Thomas for decades

Mark Paoletta@MarkPaoletta

THREAD: 1/11

@JaneMayerNYer and her fellow lefties are ramping up attacks on #SCOTUS as they fear Supreme Court getting ready to issue a whole host of decisions they won’t like. Note Mayer’s pathetic “hit” piece today on Ginni Thomas and Justice Thomas. It’s a dud

2/11 @RuthMarcus

new attacks on #SCOTUS,

@NinaTotenberg

false “maskgate” re Gorsuch. They’re really mad #SCOTUS is returning to originalist jurisprudence led by Justice Thomas. More desperate attacks are coming.

@NYTimes @DannyHakim

looking for many months for dirt on Thomas.

3/11 Mayer piece full of lies/distortions/agenda. In attempting to smear J. Thomas for not recusing in cases due to G. Thomas’ views or activities, Mayer claims DC Cir Judge Pillard recuses from cases where ACLU (her husband

@DavidColeACLU

is Legal Dir) has filed amicus brief.

4/11 Pillard shouldn’t have to and doesn’t do that. Cole’s name is on ACLU’s brief in Mazar v Trump (whether Trump must obey congressional subpoena for docs). Pillard properly participated in en banc panel of petition to rehear case. Mayer’s claim is false

5/11 Pillard acted 100% appropriately. She should not have recused. ACLU is not a party in case & husband didn’t have interest that could be substantially affected by outcome.

6/11 The late Judge Reinhardt (liberal icon of 9th Cir) made exact argument when he refused to recuse from a case in which his wife, the head of the ACLU/SoCal, expressed views and filed brief on issue before his court. Read his opinion: https://cite.case.law/f3d/630/909/

7/11 Same principles hold for Justice Thomas and Ginni Thomas. He is 100% correct not to recuse from any case because of her views or activities to date.

8/11 Reinhardt:“It is also important…judges not recuse themselves unless required to do so, or it would be too easy for those who seek judges favorable to their case to disqualify those that they perceive to be unsympathetic merely by publicly questioning their impartiality."

9/11 Justice Scalia: Broad recusal standard “would also encourage so-called investigative journalists to suggest improprieties, and demand recusals, for other inappropriate (and increasingly silly) reasons.” Mayer’s piece is definition of Reinhardt and Scalia concerns.

10/11 Mayer constructs false facts to smear Justice Thomas & Ginni Thomas. She started in 1994 with her book Strange Justice, her error-filled, malicious attack on J. Thomas. She can’t stop. Her obsession with Justice Thomas and Ginni Thomas: Sad!

11/11 Lefties have been after Justice Thomas for decades with repugnant attacks/tactics: Juan Williams 1991 piece – “liberals have become the abusive monsters” https://washingtonpost.com/archive/opinions/1991/10/10/open-season-on-clarence-thomas/1126ce5b-c63c-447b-b496-545b198d4dcd/…

Note: It's not working. He will never back down. See confirmation hearings.

This makes me sick, they are knowingly and willingly killing babies born alice through abortion to get their organs for science

Atlantean sins of science are provoking the judgement of God today.

David Daleiden@daviddaleiden

1) ThreadTHREAD: the "Regulatory Assessment" of experiments on aborted fetuses at theUniversity of Pittsburgh, issued by Pitt's DC lawyers, is such a poor cover-up attempt of such barbaric activity it's almost laughable. The so-called report only raises more problems than it solves.

2) First, the Pitt "Regulatory Assessment" ADMITS that it did NOT examine abortion practice at the University's clinical locations—

@UPMC

's Magee Hospital (where late-term abortions are done by Planned Parenthood abortion doctors) or Pitt OB/GYN Dept "contracted care site" @PPWPA

3) This huge admission means Pitt's so-called "assessment" for public transparency and legal compliance did NOT investigate the most serious allegations reported about the PGH programs—partial-birth abortions and harvesting organs from born-alive infants.

4) For the same reason, the "assessment" released this week __did not actually examine the relationship between Planned Parenthood and the University.

@PPWPA. abortion providers are on faculty at the University and do the late-term abortions__ through @UPMC for fetal organ harvesting.

5) Pitt's lawyers write: "It is HPM's understanding that no fetal tissue is collected from abortions performed at

@PPWP"—but with zero explanation or documentation of what their "understanding" is based on. Maybe they came to an "understanding" with

@PPFA’s Research Department?Thinking face

6) We won't know until there is far more transparency about the sources used (or ignored) in this sham cover-up job by Pitt's lawyers.Pro-Life @RepMihalek helped launch this "assessment" promising exacting transparency, and realizes it fell far short: https://www.post-gazette.com/news/education/2022/01/20/Report-Pitt-research-into-controversial-issue-followed-all-protocols-and practices/stories/202201200117

7) If transparency is the goal,

@RepMihalek bears responsibility for the failure to investigate @UPMC

in the review she helped launch, and owes it to her constituents to ensure a real investigation. She can start by pushing to release the documents this review was based on. NOW.

8) Speaking of source documents, the "assessment" actually did find serial failures to properly document patient informed consent in Pitt's fetus harvesting programs. Quote:

"Specifically, for consent forms for donation of human fetal tissue for research were not signed."

9) Additionally, the "assessment" has troubling new findings about Advanced Bioscience Resources supplying aborted fetal body parts for Pitt's @BilityMoses infamous scalping study. But in his published study, Dr. Bility said he got the scalps from @UPMC abortions. Who's lying? Thinking face

10) Again, by the "Regulatory Asssessment"'s own admission,it did NOT investigate the reports of babies delivered alive and killed by organ harvesting in the Pitt system's abortion program. This glaring omission only heightens the need for official and public scrutiny.
