I was on the board last night while Jim was here. I have never seen a bread so polite and free of nastiness and hate. Everyone was pretending to be respectful and polite when that isneverthe case. Sure there are some who post in such a manner, but the whole bread was like that. Bill Maher Explodes On Dr. Fauciâs Pandemic Response
Bill Maher, host of an HBO talk show, took aim at Anthony Fauci and other medical experts during the current pandemic for their constant alteration of the COVID guidelines.
âDonât sit there in your white coat and tell me âjust do what we say,ââ Maher said in an interview with Deadline about the medical communityâs response to Coronavirus, which has claimed over 860,000 lives since 2020.
âThatâs not a criticism of them like theyâre being corrupt, although there certainly is plenty of corruption in the medical establishment,â declared the politically-minded comedian, as he kicked off the 20th season of his hit HBO series, Real Time with Bill Maher.
Maher was not overly confident when asked whether, as a result of all these studies, either the medical establishment or an infectious disease expert like Dr. Fauci â who is the Chief Medical Advisor to the President of the United States and that countryâs leading infectious disease expert â âreally know what they are doing.â
âBut Iâve always maintained that the big overarching theme should be that people look back and say, âOh, look how far weâve come medically.ââ
âYes, thatâs true. Weâre not putting wooden teeth in our mouth like in the George Washington era, and of course we have antibiotics and lots of vaccines and lots of other things that have been miraculous.â
âBut in general, we still donât understand too much about how the human body works,â Maher stated.
In spite of advice from Fauci and fellow medical experts, Maher said that the virus is still a âdominant issueâ in our lives right now, and shouldnât continue to be one.
âI feel like Covid is still the dominant issue of our lives right now and it should not be anymore,âsaid Maher before kicking off his showâs 20th season Friday.

I think it will start well but will ultimately fizzle and flop within a years time. I just donât think people who use current social media are clamoring for a new platform and people, like myself, who donât use it arenât waiting for some new platform to start using social media.
