Chaotic scenes unfolded on the streets of the Belgian capital, Brussels, on Sunday, as thousands of protesters joined a mass march against Covid-19 health passes and other restrictions introduced by European governments in the name of combating the pandemic.

Videos captured by RT France journalist Charles Baudry showed white-helmeted police officers in riot gear blocking streets with barricades and deploying water cannons to disperse the crowds. All the while, black-clad masked protesters were pelting the police with various projectiles, including planks they had apparently acquired from demolishing a café’s terrace.

Wisconsin Speaker Vos Is Secretly Pushing Legislation to Increase Number of Drop Boxes After Judge Ruled Them Illegal in State

Wisconsin’s Republican Speaker Vos is trying to push a bill through Wisconsin’s Senate that increases the number of drop boxes in the state. This is after a judge recently ruled that they are illegal in the state.

Republican Speaker Vos is not a friend to the people of Wisconsin or the people of America. After the Democrats stole the 2020 election in the state of Wisconsin, Vox vowed to get to the bottom of it. But he never did. He said this over and over, but he never did a thing. He finally appointed a retired judge to look into the election but it was too little, too late. That investigation by Judge Gableman is still ongoing and time is running out. We previously reported that Vos was good friends with former US Speaker Paul Ryan, who despised President Trump.

In December 2020 we uncovered that Speaker Vos was behind the use of drop boxes in Wisconsin – a favorite vehicle of the left for stealing elections. Vos signed a document with Hillary’s attorney Marc Elias for the state even though he must have known that he didn’t have the authority to legitimize such an action. This was an action that must go through the legislature, but Vos signed it anyways.

Last week we found out that Vos not only promoted drop boxes in Wisconsin, he also was part of a group that promoted them throughout the country.

Now we have information from two sources that Speaker Vos has more up his sleeve. Vos knows that he can’t push a bill through the Wisconsin House asking for more ballot drop boxes inserted into the state for the next election, so he is clandestinely working with the Wisconsin Senate to push this through.

We received information from two trusted sources that Speaker Vos is working with outgoing RINO Senator Kathy Bernier. You might recall that she is the same ‘Republican’ Senator who criticized fellow members of her party who wanted an audit of the state’s 2020 Election results.

It’s shocking that after all the actions that Speaker Vos took in 2020, he would now be interested in adding drop boxes in the state after they were so critical to the Democrats’ plans in 2020.

All that one has to do is ask the state to provide the valid chain of custody documentation on all the ballots recorded in the 2020 Election and you will have evidence that the 2020 election results in Wisconsin never should have been certified.

But now Vos wants more. Our sources say that a bill is being looked at in the Wisconsin Senate that purportedly will increase the number of absentee ballots in the state. Below is a copy of the report that is being circulated.

Russia replies to US 'disinformation' claims

Moscow denies US State Department’s assertion that Russia creates false narratives and publishes propaganda

Documents published by Washington on Thursday alleging the Kremlin has created an “ecosystem” of propaganda are an attempt to “incriminate the Russian authorities,” the country’s ambassador in Washington has claimed. In a comment posted on Facebook, Ambassador Anatoly Antonov said the US’ allegations were baseless.

On Thursday, the US State Department published a series of articles relating to so-called Russian “disinformation.” In one of them, headlined “Five Persistent Disinformation Narratives,” the “narratives” listed include historical revisionism and the promotion of the idea that Western civilization is collapsing. It also accused Russia of portraying itself as an innocent victim and playing the ‘Russophobia’ card any time the Kremlin is criticized.

“These narratives act like a template, which enables the Kremlin to adjust these narratives, with one consistency – a complete disregard for truth as it shapes the information environment to support its policy goals,” the State Department “fact sheet” says.

In another piece, with the headline “Fact vs. Fiction: Russian Disinformation on Ukraine,” Moscow is accused of having told lies about the situation in the Donbass, where a war is still raging, and of attempting to paint Ukraine and Ukrainian government officials as the aggressors.

According to Antonov, the documents were designed to “incriminate the Russian authorities and state media.” He suggested the US was denying “objective facts” about the current situation in Kiev.

“Such actions are unacceptable,” he said. “They do not have any added value for resolving the problems of global security, and lead to further degradation of bilateral relations.”

Brazil: Child Vaccination Suspended After 10-Year-Old Girl Suffers Cardiac Arrest Hours After Receiving Pfizer Vaccine

A 10-year-old girl from São Paolo, Brazil has suffered a cardiac arrest and was in critical condition 12 hours after taking a dose of the Pfizer vaccine, the Covid World reported.

Luisa Petenuci took the Pfizer shot on Tuesday, January 18th in Lençóis Paulista, São Paulo. After 12 hours, she suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed on her father’s lap.

Police officer Claudimar Petenuci, father of 10-year-old Luisa Petenuci, shared the horrific incident in an audio that went viral on social media.

“She took the vaccine in the morning, and at 9 o’clock at night she came to my room saying that her heart was beating very hard, when I put my hand, it was something unbelievable. She fainted on my lap,” says the police officer [translated].

The father concluded in his voice message not to vaccinate the kids due to its risks.

The father recalls that he tried to provide first aid to his daughter, and took her to receive medical care. “I handed over my dead daughter, trying to massage, breathe, but she only managed to return with defibrillator.”

During the voice message, Claudimar still says he does not want this situation for any father. “I want no father to go through what I’m going through.”

The girl was part of the priority group of children who could receive the vaccine because she has asthma, and had pneumonia more than twice in the last year. She took the Pfizer immunizer for children, approved by Anvisa on December 16.

Luisa was taken to a private health network for medical care, where she received first aid and was transferred to the Pediatric ICU at Unimed Hospital in Bauru on Friday. She will undergo an MRI exam on Monday, January 24th as recommended by her anesthesiologist.

“I am anxiously awaiting the result of this exam so that I can take care of my daughter and see the path we are going to follow. Only this resonance that she will do on Monday will be able to give us the final diagnosis”, says the father.

Following the incident, the municipality of Lençóis Paulista suspended for 7 days the vaccination of children aged between 5 and 11 years old. However, the vaccination for adults will continue as normal.

Professor Who Identified Unique Characteristics in COVID-19 Indicating It Was Built in a Lab Says He Was a Victim of a “Disgusting Whitewash”

Dr. Angus Dalgleish, who identified the unique characteristics in COVID-19 that support the theory that the China coronavirus was built in a lab has been attacked for using science to reach his conclusion.

University of London professor Angus Dalgleish, who co-authored a paper in summer 2020 after spotting “unique fingerprints” in Covid-19 samples that point to genetic manipulation, says that he’s been the victim of a “disgusting whitewash,” and that anyone suggesting a non-natural origin for Covid-19 has been silenced by peers…

…Dalgleish is the author of a book on Covid which claims the virus has “no credible natural ancestor.” He says his team found amino acids within the Covid-19 spike protein with a positive charge – allowing the virus to cling to negative parts of the body.

But it was highly unusual to find so many positive charges in a row because they also repel each other, he said.

“We realised when they released the sequence of the virus it broke the laws of physics for a natural virus meaning it was genetically modified.

“At the time my position was supported by Sir Richard Dearlove, the former head of MI6 who now chairs the University of London board of trustees.”

However, when they tried to publish their work they were turned down by numerous papers, including the Lancet.

“My paper was rejected within five hours”, he said. “Normally it takes three weeks before it is even peer reviewed.” -Express

According to Dalgleish, “It was a political decision for this to be suppressed,” adding that after the paper was released, “I was ostracised. I was fearful – really frightened at the way I was being treated.”

“I was told I was not an expert on coronavirus’ and should just shut up. People tried to push us away. We were told our theory had no rationale and it was a conspiracy theory. I am so angry about this. I have more virus papers cited than most virology experts and they tried to push me aside.

“They did not even look at the science. It was obvious it was a gain of function escape from a lab and I say escape, but that is generous. We had this data in late February after the sequences were released.

“This has been a whitewash. This whole thing has killed science. Science is meant to look at evidence. It is truly unbelievable.“

"The minister has accepted my request," he added.

Speaking at an event organized by the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses on Friday, the vice-admiral redpilled the shocked audience when he dismissed as “nonsense” the notion that Russia was “interested in having a small and tiny strip of Ukraine soil and integrating it into their country.”

“Does Russia really want a small and tiny strip of Ukraine soil to integrate into their country? No, this is nonsense. Putin is probably putting pressure because can do it and he splits EU opinion."

Schönbach went on to claim that what President Putin really wanted was the West to “respect” Russia, adding "giving some respect is low cost, even no cost. If I was asked, it is easy to give him the respect he really demands and probably also deserves."

Big Tech Forcing MPs To Self-Censor In Australian Parliament: Craig Kelly MP

Australian members of Parliament are curating their speeches to avoid triggering censorship from Big Tech platforms like YouTube and Facebook, according to United Australia Party (UAP) leader Craig Kelly MP.

In a wide-ranging interview with Emeritus Law Professor David Flint, Kelly, who last year resigned from the Liberal Party to join the UAP, said Big Tech companies had become the “de facto Hansard” in reference to the official transcript of Parliamentary debates used across Commonwealth countries.

“On the floor of Parliament, I have to think, ‘If I say these words, will YouTube delete this?’” he told Flint in an episode of Australia Calling, which can be viewed on The Epoch Times website, as well as Rumble and YouTube.

“I think we need to enshrine ‘freedom of speech,’ especially in the age of these large tech giants who have so much control of what goes into the media,” he said. “People talk about the Murdoch media having so much control, they have nothing on the control that Facebook and YouTube do.”

“It’s also controlling other groups like Sky News Australia and other independent media commentators who use YouTube and Facebook to post their interviews and content,” he added. “They know in certain areas if they talk about something which is contrary to the economic interests of those (Big Tech) companies, they will have their platforms taken down.”

Kelly called on the platforms to be recognised as publishers saying they could not have it “both ways.”

“Facebook and YouTube today have taken the role of the ‘Old Town Square.’ They’ve got the right to say who goes into the Town Square, who’s allowed to stand up on the soapbox, and who’s allowed to speak and who is not allowed to speak,” he said.

Big Tech’s moderation of content has become an increasingly contentious issue with concerns platforms are not doing enough to curb online bullying, while at the same time, warnings or suspensions have been handed out in response to discussion on politics or COVID-19.

For example, Prof. Nikolai Petrovsky, lead researcher at Vaxine which is behind Spikogen (or COVAX-19)—now being rolled out in Iran—had his LinkedIn account restricted over “multiple violations” of the user agreement.

According to an email from LinkedIn posted online by Petrovsky, the social media company took action against the researcher when he wrote comments questioning the efficacy of vaccines, the use of mandates, and the manufacturing safeguards behind the drugs.

“Which media channels to trust and have integrity? Does anyone find these comments offensive?” the professor wrote.

Pfizer CEO pushes annual COVID-19 vaccine shot as company makes billions: 'Easier to convince people to do it'

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla admitted Saturday that he is hoping people around the world will receive annual COVID-19 vaccine shots.

The admission comes as the global community implements booster campaigns because, as Reuters noted, the COVID vaccines have proven to be effective at preventing most deaths and hospitalizations, but not transmission.

What are the details?

Speaking with Israel's N12 News, Bourla was asked whether he believes COVID booster shoots will be administered on a regular basis, such as every four or five months. In response, Bourla expressed hope in annual vaccine shots.

"This will not be a good scenario," Bourla said of regular booster shots, Reuters reported. "What I'm hoping [is] that we will have a vaccine that you will have to do once a year."

Bourla's justification? Because convincing people to receive an annual shot is easier than convincing them to receive bi-annual boosters.

"Once a year — it is easier to convince people to do it. It is easier for people to remember," Bourla explained. "So from a public health perspective, it is an ideal situation. We are looking to see if we can create a vaccine that covers Omicron and doesn't forget the other variants and that could be a solution."

When Pfizer released its third-quarter earnings report last November, the company estimated its COVID-19 vaccine would generate $36 billion in total revenue through 2021.

During the same time period, Pfizer reported a net income (or profit) of nearly $8.146 billion, up from just $1.469 billion during the third-quarter of 2020.

What about the US?

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky admitted last week that her agency is working to change the definition of "fully vaccinated" to include booster shots.

"What we really are working to do is pivot the language to make sure that everybody is as up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines as they personally could be, should be, based on when they got their last vaccine," Walenksy said.

"That means if you recently got your second dose, you’re not eligible for a booster, you’re up to date," she explained. "If you are eligible for a booster and you haven’t gotten it, you’re not up to date and you need to get your booster in order to be up to date."

Using language made famous in the W era of post 9/11 warmongering speeches, Jill Sanborn, the executive assistant director in charge of the FBI, said these lone extremists or small cells are seeking to carry out violence against unsuspecting Americans. Only this time, those extremists are not the people in caves on the other side of the world, they are your neighbor, the coach of your son’s little league team, your local doctor, and anyone else the government paints with the extremely broad brush of terroristic tendencies.

A “realistic” guerrilla war will be fought across two dozen North Carolina counties this month, with young soldiers battling seasoned “freedom fighters,” according to the U.S. Army.

The two-week “unconventional warfare exercise” will be staged Jan. 22-Feb. 4 on privately owned land. And it will be realistic enough to include the sounds of gunfire (blanks) and flares, the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School said in a news release.

China’s Huawei Pays Tony Podesta $1 Million for White House Lobbying

Long time Democratic power broker Tony Podesta has earned $1 million over the past half year lobbying the Biden White House at the behest of a blacklisted Chinese tech giant, recent federal disclosures show.

Huawei, which was placed under trade sanctions during the Trump administration, paid Podesta $500,000 in the fourth quarter of 2021 in an attempt to shake off the trade impact of the restrictions, according to the disclosure form filed on the evening of Jan. 20. With the $500,000 Podesta made from the previous three months lobbying the White House, he has been compensated $1 million over a six-month period for the lobbying effort.

Podesta’s latest lobbying campaign targeted the Executive Office of the President and centered around “telecommunications services and impacted trade issues,” the disclosure said.

Huawei, once the world’s largest telecom makers, has been facing international scrutiny in recent years. U.S. authorities have flagged the China-based company as a national security threat, saying the company’s close ties with China’s ruling communist regime, as well as Chinese law, could make it a potential espionage tool for Beijing.

A stream of U.S. sanctions since 2019—which have barred Huawei from using U.S. technology and software, and shut out its gears from critical U.S. infrastructure—have slashed the company’s annual revenue by a third. In November, President Joe Biden signed into law a bill that further tightened restrictions on Huawei by restricting it from receiving new equipment licenses from U.S regulators.

Battered by the restrictions, Huawei has ramped up its U.S. influence operation in recent months. Podesta is one of half a dozen lobbyists the firm has engaged since July, which includes a former congressman and one former congressional aide, according to disclosure filings.

At the time, the company had been pushing for the release of its chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou, the daughter of Huawei’s founder Ren Zhenfei, who had been detained in Canada on fraud charges for business dealings with Iran evading U.S. sanctions.

Meng was eventually allowed to return to China after inking a deal with the Department of Justice.

Tony Podesta’s brother, John Podesta, served as White House chief of staff to former U.S. President Bill Clinton and the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. He was also a former counselor to President Barack Obama, overseeing climate and energy policies.

Growing Number of European Countries Rolling Back COVID-19 Restrictions

Major economies in Europe have started to roll back COVID-19 restrictions that were implemented in recent weeks in response to a spike in cases and hospitalizations.

In the United Kingdom, people won’t have to wear masks in public or show proof they’ve been vaccinated to enter some venues like restaurants or pubs starting next Thursday.

“Because of the extraordinary booster campaign, together with the way the public have responded to the Plan B measures, we can return to Plan A in England and allow Plan B regulations to expire as a result from the start of Thursday next week,” Prime Minister Boris Johnson said several days ago.

The prime minister cited data suggesting the Omicron variant surge has “now peaked nationally.”

“And having looked at the data carefully, the Cabinet concluded that once regulations lapse, the government will no longer mandate the wearing of face masks anywhere,” Johnson also said.

In nearby Ireland, nearly all COVID-19 rules are expected to expire on Saturday morning, including capacity limits for outdoor and indoor events. Early closing times and some so-called social distancing measures have also been done away with, officials said last week.

“The main thing our government has to consider in our meeting today is issues around the timing as well as issues around financial support for businesses. As we’ve always said there won’t be a cliff edge for the removal of passports for business, but there will be an end,” said Ireland’s deputy head of government, Leo Varadkar, in public remarks.

French Prime Minister Jean Castex late last week said the country will start to roll back restrictions in the coming weeks, asserting that France’s COVID-19 case numbers and hospitalizations have improved.

British Police Force’s LGBT+ Network Unveils Creepy Cow Mascot

The Merseyside Police force’s LGBTQ+ Network has drawn criticism over a post on social media apparently promoting a new cow mascot rather than tackling violent crime in Liverpool.

The LGBT+ Network, which was founded by the Merseyside Police in 2001, stated mission goal includes “promoting inclusion, supporting colleagues, enabling dialogue.”

The police force described the network as comprising of “people from across the organisation. We offer networking opportunities, confidential support and we strive towards an inclusive workplace where we can all be our true selves.”

On Saturday, a social media account for the LGBT+ Network shared an image of a socially distanced and masked “catch up” with members from the Greater Manchester Police Pride Network, Lancashire Police, Cumbria Police’s Equality and Diversity department, the LGBTQ+ Group at the National Crime Agency (NCA), and the organisation for LGBT+ History Month, which is celebrated in February in the UK.

The post, which featured rainbow and transgender flags, also showed police staff donning rainbow ID card lanyards. In the picture, the representatives were inexplicably gathered around what appears to be a cow (or possibly a dog) mascot.

WATCH: UK Healthcare Workers Throw Down Uniforms in Vaccine Mandate Protest

Thousands of people marched through central London on Saturday to protest against the impending vaccine mandate for healthcare workers in England.

While Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the end of most Chinese coronavirus restrictions earlier this week, some measures remain in place, including the April 1st deadline for frontline National Health Service (NHS) and care home staff to be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment.

In a defiant move, hundreds of NHS workers were seen throwing down their uniforms outside Number 10 Downing Street and in Trafalgar Square as they marched alongside ‘World Wide Rally for Freedom’ protesters in the British capital.

It’s Fauci’s stifling of debate and his evasiveness that have Republican Congressman Jim Jordan promising to investigate him when the GOP grabs the gavel away from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. “If the American people put us back in charge, we are definitely going to do this,” said Jordan. He added that Congressman James Comer and Senators Rand Paul and Ron Johnson would lead the charge for a sweeping congressional investigation into the origins of COVID-19.

Such an investigation is long overdue, and it’s pretty clear that we can’t count on the Democrats to conduct it — this despite the fact that the coronavirus has so far killed more than 850,000 Americans.

It’s strange, isn’t it, that the Democrats are hell-bent on conducting an endless investigation into the unarmed non-insurrection of January 6, 2021 — an event that resulted in the shooting death of a single unarmed woman, Ashli Babbitt, at the hands of a reckless Capitol cop — and yet they don’t seem the least bit interested in uncovering the origins of a virus that has already killed twice as many Americans as died during all of World War II. Why might that be? What are Joe Biden, Tony Fauci, and their fellow Democrats afraid of?

Answer: China.

Joe Biden’s corrupt dealings with the Communist Chinese have been well documented around our shop. But what about Tony Fauci? Why has he been running such solid interference for the ChiComs? Because, as it turns out, he might have even more to hide than Joe Biden. As Jordan continues:

We now know without a doubt that Dr. Fauci knew on January 31st and February 1st that this thing came from a lab. The top scientists in the country were saying it came from a lab. One scientist says we got the notes now from the conference call on February 1st. One scientist says, “I don’t see how this can happen in nature, but it would be easy to do in a lab.” And yet just in a matter of days, they changed their position [and] write the article that appears in Nature of Medicine magazine, which then gets cited in the now famous letter in [the British medical journal] The Lancet.

Jordan goes on to note that this sequence of orchestrated events empowered Fauci and his co-conspirators to insist that COVID-19 didn’t come from a lab when they had good reason to believe that it did. One early proponent of the lab leak, Dr. Kristian Anderson, wrote to Fauci in an email: “Virus looks engineered. Virus not consistent with evolutionary theory.”

Evolutionary theory, eh? So much for an attack on Fauci being an attack on science itself.

Why would Fauci want to mislead us about the origins of this deadly Chinese virus? Because he may have helped underwrite it. After all, we know for a fact that Fauci’s organization funded dangerous gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And we know this despite Fauci’s oft-repeated claim to the contrary.

Speaking of China, its president, Xi Jinping, was among the global leaders who delivered “State of the World” special addresses this week at the World Economic Forum’s virtual event. And he sounded remarkably Faucian in his desire not to get to the bottom of COVID-19’s origins.

“First, we need to embrace cooperation and jointly defeat the pandemic,” said Xi. “Strong confidence and cooperation represent the only right way to defeat the pandemic. Holding each other back or shifting blame would only cause needless delay in response and distract us from the overall objective.”

Xi’s remarks were sophomoric from start to finish, but that’s of no consequence. We already have “strong confidence” that the China virus came from a virology lab in Wuhan. We just want Anthony Fauci to come clean and admit it. And then to clean out his desk.

Israel insists it only ‘legally’ spies on citizens

Israel did not deny using “advanced technology” to track the population, and rejected allegations that the practice was illegal

An Israeli minister has denied reports that police illegally used Pegasus surveillance software to spy on the country’s own citizens, calling the “central claim” – that the practice was illegal – “not true.”

Several government investigations were launched this past week after the Israeli newspaper Calcalist reported that law enforcement had been using NSO Group’s infamous Pegasus spyware to illegally intercept the calls of citizens.

The newspaper claimed that police had been using the spyware since 2013 to carry out surveillance on citizens “who were not criminals or suspects.”

Omer Bar-Lev, Israel’s Minister of Public Security, told Channel 12 on Saturday that the allegations were not true, “except for the fact that the Israel Police used advanced technology.”

“The central claim that the police are illegally spying is not true,” he declared, citing the assurances of Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai, before claiming to be “very happy that the Israel Police has advanced technological tools to help deal with serious crime organizations that are using advanced technology.”

Commissioner Shabtai vowed on Friday that the police’s “legal use of technological tools” would “continue,” and said the force would carry on “developing and improving these tools.”

Israel Police and its defenders have argued that the surveillance of citizens was legal because they acquired a warrant first. However, Calculist alleged that surveillance had taken place before the warrants were granted and that the evidence discovered was then used to justify the warrants.

In 2020, it was revealed that Pegasus had been sold by NSO Group to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) among other state customers, where it was then used to spy on journalists, politicians, and human rights activists.

The spyware was discovered on the devices of at least nine US State Department staffers, and Pegasus was even allegedly used to spy on world leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron.

As Durham closes in, FBI's Trump-Russia origin story is harder to believe

As he documents the role of Hillary Clinton’s campaign in generating false allegations of Trump-Russia collusion, Special Counsel John Durham has also previewed a challenge to the FBI’s claims about how and why its counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign began.

At stake is the completeness of the official reckoning within the U.S. government over the Russiagate scandal – and whether there will be an accounting commensurate with the offense: the abuse of the nation's highest law enforcement and intelligence powers to damage an opposition presidential candidate turned president, at the behest of his opponent from the governing party he defeated.

The drama is playing out against the clashing approaches of the two Justice Department officials tasked with scrutinizing the Russia probe's origins and unearthing any misconduct: Durham, the Sphinx-like prosecutor with a reputation for toughness whose work continues; and Michael Horowitz, the Department of Justice inspector general, whose December 2019 report faulted the FBI's handling of the Russia probe but nonetheless concluded that it was launched in good faith.

The bureau's defenders point to Horowitz's report to argue that the FBI’s Trump-Russia conspiracy investigation, codenamed Crossfire Hurricane, is untainted despite its extensive use of the discredited Clinton-funded Steele dossier. Though highly critical of the bureau's use of Christopher Steele's reports, Horowitz concluded that they “played no role in the Crossfire Hurricane opening," which he said had met the department's “low threshold” for opening an investigation.

But Durham has made plain his dissent. In response to Horowitz's report, the special counsel announced that his office had "advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened." Durham stressed that, unlike Horowitz, his "investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department" and has instead obtained "information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S."

Durham’s office has not described the specific basis for its disagreement. But the Crossfire Hurricane advocates’ defense has a big problem: copious countervailing evidence in the public record – including in Horowitz's own report. A considerable paper trail points to Steele’s political opposition research playing a greater role in the probe than the FBI has acknowledged:

Numerous officials received Steele's allegations – some meeting with the ex-British intelligence officer himself – and discussed sending them up the FBI chain weeks before July 31, 2016, the Horowitz-endorsed date when the bureau claims it opened the Russia-Trump “collusion” investigation. These encounters call into question the FBI’s claim that Steele played no role in triggering Crossfire Hurricane and that its team only received the dossier weeks after their colleagues, on Sept. 19.

Blinken promises 'severe' response if 'single additional Russian force' enters Ukraine

Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Sunday warned of a “swift” and “severe” united response from the U.S. and European allies if a "single additional Russian force" enters Ukraine.

Asked by co-anchor Dana Bash on CNN’s “State of the Union” about potential aggressions by Russia and if they would lead to sanctions, Blinken emphasized that any incursion by Moscow, despite the size, would be met with a strong response.

“If a single additional Russian force goes into Ukraine in an aggressive way, as I said, that would trigger a swift, a severe, and a united response from us and from Europe,” Blinken said.

Blinken’s warning comes as concerns are growing that Moscow is planning to invade Ukraine. Russia has amassed more than 100,000 troops near the Ukrainian border.

President Biden on Wednesday warned that Russia would face “disaster” if it launches an offensive against Ukraine.

The U.S. has engaged in diplomacy with Russia to ease tensions in the region, though no breakthroughs have been achieved.

Blinken on Sunday said the “choice” regarding next steps in the standoff is up to Russian President Vladimir Putin, emphasizing that a diplomatic path is “preferable.”

“At this point, Dana, the choice is Vladimir Putin's and there, the paths are clear: diplomacy, dialogue, seeing if we can build collective security in a way that is good for everyone is clearly the preferable path but we're prepared,” he said.

2nd minor earthquake within hours rattles northern Israel; some buildings evacuated

3.5-magnitude quake centered south of Tiberias, just hours after earlier temblor; no immediate reports of injuries

A minor earthquake shook northern Israel on Sunday afternoon, sending some residents into the streets during the area’s second temblor within hours.

Israel’s Geological Survey said the 3.5-magnitude quake struck just after midday, centered 16 kilometers southeast of the city of Tiberias.

Police said there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage and no warnings about disturbances at sea.

A series of fault lines runs along the Red Sea, the Dead Sea and Jordan Valley, causing geological activity in the area.

In Beit She’an, employees were evacuated from city hall as part of the standard procedures during an earthquake. A school was also evacuated in nearby Afula.

An unnamed resident of Beit She’an told the Walla news site that they were concerned a larger quake could be on the way.

“We felt a short earthquake just like it during the night. We left the building and waited a few minutes. It is very surprising that there was another earthquake and there is concern there may be a bigger one soon,” they said.

A resident of Nazareth told Channel 12 news that they also “felt the earthquake strongly.”

The quake came just hours after an earlier minor quake in northern Israel, late Saturday night.

Israel’s Geological Survey said that 3.7-magnitude earthquake began at 11:36 p.m. on Saturday. The epicenter was around 19 kilometers northeast of Beit She’an, near Israel’s border with Jordan.

“It went on for a relatively long time. It moved things around in my house,” a Haifa resident told Walla news after the first quake. “My desk was moving by itself for four or five seconds. The whole house, the bed, the room shook.”

“My whole body was trembling with fear. I started grabbing my kids to get outside. The bed really moved. All the windows were shaking,” a woman from Tiberias said.
